3. Setup and Installation
Before starting, ensure your desktop thickness is between 15-50mm to accommodate the clamp installation.
3.1 Base Installation (Desk Clamp)
- Assemble the clamp: Attach the clamp bracket to the main pole using the provided screws and Allen key. Ensure the screws are tightened securely.
- Attach the clamp to your desk: Position the assembled base on your desk and tighten the clamp screw until it is firmly secured.

Assembling the clamp base and securing it to the desk.
3.2 Arm Installation
- Slide the lower arm assembly (C) onto the main pole.
- Slide the upper arm assembly (B) onto the main pole, ensuring to leave 10-15mm of space at the top of the pole.
- Tighten the screw on the arm to secure it in place.
- Insert the head assembly (A) into the dynamic arm.

3.3 VESA Plate Installation
Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor. Depending on your monitor's design, choose one of the following methods:
- **Scenario 1: Normal Use**
Use the VESA hand-tightened screws (a) directly to secure the VESA plate to the monitor. - **Scenario 2: If Hand-tightened Screws are Too Long**
If the hand-tightened screws are too long, use the 4mm separation posts (d) with the hand-tightened screws to create the correct length. - **Scenario 3: If Monitor Back is Recessed**
If your monitor has a recessed back, use the 25mm long VESA screws (f) with the 16mm separation posts (e) to ensure proper fit.

3.4 Cable Management
Route your cables through the integrated cable management channels on the arm and secure them with the cable clamp (E). Ensure sufficient slack for full range of motion.

4. Operating and Adjustments
Ensure your monitor is securely attached before making any adjustments.
4.1 Height Adjustment
The monitor arm allows for a column lifting range of 235mm and a bracket arm lifting range of 250mm. Simply push or pull the monitor to the desired height. The mechanical spring will hold it in place.

4.2 Tilt Adjustment
The monitor can be tilted from -15° to +90° to achieve the optimal viewing angle. Gently push or pull the top or bottom of the monitor to adjust the tilt.
4.3 Swivel Adjustment
The monitor arm allows for a swivel of ±90° (left and right). Rotate the monitor horizontally to your preferred position.
4.4 Pivot (Screen Rotation)
Rotate the screen ±180° to switch between landscape and portrait orientations as needed.

4.5 Monitor Arm Tension Adjustment
If the monitor arm is too loose (monitor sags) or too stiff (difficult to move), you can adjust the tension:
- **If arm strength is insufficient (too loose):** Use the Allen key to turn the screw on the arm towards the '+' direction to increase tension.
- **If arm strength is too great (too stiff):** Use the Allen key to turn the screw on the arm towards the '-' direction to decrease tension.
Adjust gradually until the monitor holds its position smoothly.
5. Maintenance
- **Cleaning:** Wipe the monitor arm with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- **Periodic Checks:** Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Re-tighten if necessary.
- **Lubrication:** No special lubrication is required for the mechanical spring mechanism.
6. Troubleshooting
- **Monitor Sags or Doesn't Hold Position:** The arm tension may be too low for your monitor's weight. Refer to section 4.5 to increase the arm tension.
- **Monitor is Difficult to Move:** The arm tension may be too high. Refer to section 4.5 to decrease the arm tension.
- **Wobbly Monitor:** Ensure all installation screws, especially the desk clamp and VESA plate screws, are securely tightened. Check that your desk is stable and strong enough to support the bracket and monitor.
- **Cables are Pinched or Restricted:** Re-route cables through the cable management channels, ensuring adequate slack for all movements. Refer to the wiring diagram and cable management instructions.
- **Product Damage or Personal Injury:** This can occur from overloading the bracket, incorrect installation, or unauthorized disassembly. Always adhere to the weight capacity and installation procedures.
7. User Tips
- **Ergonomics:** Adjust your monitor height so the top of the screen is at or slightly below eye level. This helps maintain a neutral neck posture.
- **Cable Management:** Utilize the integrated cable management to keep your workspace tidy and prevent cable damage. Leave enough slack for full range of motion.
- **Dual Monitor Setup:** For dual monitor setups, consider purchasing two AM700 brackets or a compatible dual arm accessory kit (sold separately) for an immersive and wider field of view.
- **Desktop Space:** The inverted suspension design allows for significant desktop clearing, making your workspace more organized and spacious.

The monitor arm helps clear desktop space for a more organized setup.
