4. Package Contents
Upon opening your package, you should find:
- 1 x Din Rail AC Monitor (KWS-303, KWS-303L, or KWS-303WF model as ordered)
5. Installation
5.1 Mounting
The KWS-303 series meters are designed for standard Din Rail mounting. No screws or fasteners are required for installation; simply snap the device onto the Din Rail.


5.2 Wiring Diagram
Ensure all power is disconnected before attempting any wiring. Connect the input and output wires as shown in the diagram below. The blue line represents the Zero line (N), and the red line represents the Firing line (L).
- This product is suitable for indoor use.
- This product is suitable for communication.
- The measured voltage and current shall not exceed the calibration range.
- Be sure to connect the cables correctly.

6. Initial Setup and Configuration
6.1 Display Operation
The meter's display provides real-time data. The buttons below the screen allow for navigation and settings adjustments.

6.2 Setting Function Operation
To access the setting menu, hold down the ON/OFF key for 5 seconds. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to navigate and adjust values.
- Step 1: In the system settings page, click the '-' key to move the cursor to the overvoltage protection position. Then press ON/OFF to select the value, then press '+' to adjust it to the value you need. Then press ON/OFF to save the adjustment, and then press '+' to select other settings.
- Step 2: If you do not need to set, press the '-' key to move the cursor to the exit position, and then press ON/OFF to return to the home page.
- Step 3: All following settings (Overvoltage protection, Undervoltage protection, Overcurrent protection, Overload protection, Power protection, Overtemperature protection, Power-off ultra-low, Screen brightness, Screen saver time, Screen flip, Language setting, Timing off, Timing on, Data clear, Factory Settings) are adjusted in the same way.

6.3 WiFi Connection (KWS-303WF only)
For models with WiFi functionality (KWS-303WF), follow these steps to connect to the cloud remote control:
- Step 1: Download the Smart Life APP or Tuya Smart App from your mobile app store.
- Step 2: For WiFi connection or reset operation mode: Long press the '+' button under the home screen display until the WiFi sign flashes in the upper right corner of the screen. Then, open the mobile APP for connection.

7. Operation
7.1 Reading Data
Once installed and powered on, the meter will automatically display the 8 electrical parameters on its TFT color screen. You can cycle through different views or access detailed information using the control buttons.
7.2 Mobile Remote Control (KWS-303WF only)
After successfully connecting the KWS-303WF model to the Smart Life or Tuya Smart App, you can remotely monitor and control the device. This includes viewing real-time data, setting timing switches, and managing multiple devices.


7.3 Share Management (KWS-303WF only)
The mobile application allows for share management, enabling multiple users to control the same device or a single user to control multiple devices. This feature is useful for household or small business environments.

8. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or humidity.
- Do not attempt to open or repair the device yourself, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage or injury.
- Regularly check wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
9. Troubleshooting
- No Display/Power: Check the power supply and wiring connections. Ensure the voltage is within the specified range.
- Incorrect Readings: Verify that the wiring is correct (Zero line and Firing line). Ensure the current and voltage are within the meter's operational range.
- WiFi Connection Issues (KWS-303WF): Ensure your router is 2.4GHz (5GHz is not supported). Check that the WiFi signal is strong. Try resetting the meter's WiFi by long-pressing the '+' button until the WiFi icon flashes, then re-attempt connection via the app.
- Buttons Unresponsive: Ensure the device is powered on. If the issue persists, try a power cycle (turn off and on).
10. User Tips
- For optimal performance and accurate readings, ensure the meter is installed in a stable environment away from direct heat sources or excessive vibrations.
- Utilize the mobile app's timing functions (KWS-303WF) to automate power control for appliances, saving energy and enhancing convenience.
- Regularly check the displayed parameters to identify any unusual power consumption patterns or potential electrical issues in your system.
