5. Setup

    • For a four-wire system, connect the test leads to the A+, V+, V-, A- terminals on the 6P test access terminal (6).
    • The device is downward compatible with a two-wire system.

6.1. Menu Navigation

  • Time Limit: Configures limited time discharge (e.g., "00:03" for 3 minutes). "--:--" indicates unlimited discharge.
  • Stop Discharge Voltage (-vol-): Sets the low-voltage protection threshold.

6.3. Working Modes

The tester supports three primary working modes:

  • CC (Constant Current Mode): Maintains a constant discharge current.
  • CP (Constant Power Mode): Maintains a constant discharge power.
  • CR (Constant Resistance Mode): Maintains a constant discharge resistance.

Use the encoder to set the desired discharge parameters (current, power, or resistance) for the selected mode.

6.4. Starting and Stopping a Test

  • After setting all parameters, press the Run/Stop button (3) to start the discharge program.
  • Press the Run/Stop button (3) again to stop the program.

  • OVP (Overvoltage Protection): Adjustable up to 150V. Triggers if voltage exceeds the set limit.
  • OCP (Overcurrent Protection): Adjustable up to 20A. Triggers if current exceeds the set limit.
  • OPP (Overpower Protection): Adjustable up to 150W. Triggers if power exceeds the set limit.
  • OTP (Over Temperature Protection): Triggers if the internal temperature exceeds 75 °C.
  • Voltage Limited Discharge (Low-Voltage Protection): Supports setting a minimum voltage threshold to stop discharge. Defaults to no voltage limited discharge.

When a protection is triggered, the display will show the corresponding status (e.g., OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP).

8. Maintenance

  • Cooling: The programmable fan automatically runs when the internal temperature is ≥ 40 °C or the current is > 3A to ensure optimal operating temperature. Ensure the cooling fan (9) is not obstructed.
  • Cleaning: Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the device in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

9. Troubleshooting
