3. Setup and Installation

Before beginning installation, ensure your workspace is clean, well-lit, and static-free. Always handle the motherboard by its edges and avoid touching components directly.

  8. Connect Power Cables: Connect the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin (or 4+4-pin) CPU power connector from your power supply to the motherboard. Connect SATA power cables to SATA devices and PCIe power cables to your graphics card if required.
  9. Connect Front Panel Cables: Connect the power button, reset button, HDD LED, power LED, and front panel USB/audio headers to their respective pins on the motherboard. Refer to the motherboard layout for pin locations.
