3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation (Transmitter)
The C7 MINI transmitter supports two battery types: 4 AAA batteries or a 2S LIPO lithium battery. Ensure correct polarity when inserting AAA batteries. For 2S LIPO batteries, utilize the direct plug 2S lithium battery balance port for convenient connection.

3.2 Receiver Connection and Binding (MC8RE-V2)
The MC8RE-V2 receiver provides 7 PWM signal outputs, 1 SBUS signal output, and 1 external voltage input. Connect your servos and other components to the appropriate PWM ports (1-7). The SBUS port can be used for compatible flight controllers. Ensure the external antenna is properly positioned for optimal signal reception.

Frequency Matching (Binding) Procedure:
- Ensure the receiver is powered on.
- Press the touch button on the receiver (labeled 'BIND' in the diagram).
- Turn on the power switch of the remote control.
- The frequency matching process should complete successfully, indicated by a solid light on the receiver.
Note: External input voltage for the receiver is recommended within 6S.
4. Operating Controls
Familiarize yourself with the various controls on your C7 MINI transmitter:
- D/R Switch: Dual Rate switch for adjusting control sensitivity.
- SW-A, SW-B, SW-C, SW-D: Assignable switches for various functions (e.g., channels 5, 6, 7, 8).
- Power Light: Indicates the power status of the transmitter.
- Rocker (Gimbals): Main control sticks for throttle, aileron, elevator, and rudder.
- Throttle Trim (Left-hand throttle): Fine-tunes the throttle neutral position.
- Elevator Fine-tuning (Right-hand throttle): Fine-tunes the elevator neutral position.
- Rudder Fine Adjustment: Fine-tunes the rudder neutral position.
- Aileron Fine-tuning: Fine-tunes the aileron neutral position.
- Menu Key / OK Key: Navigates menus and confirms selections.
- Exit Button: Returns to the previous menu or exits a function.
- Channel Monitoring: Displays real-time channel output values.
- Power Switch: Turns the transmitter on/off.
- Up Button: Navigates up in menus or increases values.
- Down Button: Navigates down in menus or decreases values.
- Lock Button: Locks the keys to prevent accidental input.
4.1 External Ports
- Audio Interface: For connecting to computers or simulation dongles for training.
- External Input DC 6V Power Supply: For indoor testing purposes.
5. Operating Modes and Features
5.1 Language Selection
The C7 MINI supports both Chinese and English languages. You can switch between these languages via the system settings menu.

5.2 Runaway Protection
This feature is crucial for model safety. When the receiver loses signal from the transmitter (e.g., transmitter turned off, distance exceeded), the runaway protection will activate. It returns the model's control surfaces to a pre-set out-of-control value, helping to prevent damage.

5.3 Travel Setting
The travel setting allows you to limit the range of movement for each control surface (rudder, elevator, aileron, etc.). This ensures that your model's surfaces only move within the desired and safe limits, preventing over-control or mechanical stress.
5.4 Speed Lock (Car/Boat Mode)
In car or boat mode, the speed lock function can be engaged. Once activated, the vehicle will maintain a constant speed, which is particularly useful for models with differential structures, ensuring consistent movement without manual speed adjustments.

5.5 Simulation Training
The C7 MINI transmitter can be connected to a computer for simulation training. This allows users to practice controlling their RC models in a virtual environment, improving skills without risking damage to physical models.

5.6 Backlit Display
The C7 MINI features a backlit display, ensuring that the operation page is clearly visible and can be used normally even in bright sunlight conditions.
5.7 Key Lock
To prevent accidental inputs or misoperation, the C7 MINI transmitter includes a key lock function. When activated, the keys become invalid until unlocked.

6. Compatibility

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the transmitter and receiver. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the radio system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries from the transmitter if storing for extended periods.
- Battery Care: Follow manufacturer guidelines for charging and discharging LIPO batteries. Do not overcharge or over-discharge.
- Antenna Care: Ensure receiver antennas are not bent or damaged. Proper antenna placement is crucial for signal integrity.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check battery installation and charge level. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- No Signal/Loss of Control:
- Verify that the transmitter and receiver are properly bound (frequency matched).
- Check receiver power supply.
- Ensure receiver antennas are correctly positioned and undamaged.
- Confirm that the model is within the specified control range.
- Check for potential interference sources.
- Incorrect Control Response:
- Check servo connections to the receiver.
- Verify channel assignments and mixing settings in the transmitter.
- Adjust trim settings if controls are slightly off-center.
- Review travel settings to ensure full range of motion.
- Display Issues: If the display is unreadable, check battery voltage. The backlit display should ensure visibility in various lighting conditions.
9. User Tips
- Always perform a range check before flying or operating your model to ensure reliable signal reception.
- Utilize the simulation training feature to practice complex maneuvers and improve your piloting skills without risk.
- Regularly check battery voltage on both the transmitter and receiver to avoid unexpected power loss during operation.
- Experiment with D/R switch settings to find the control sensitivity that best suits your flying style and model type.
- When not in use, engage the Key Lock function to prevent accidental activation or setting changes.
