1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Placement

The WUPRO G3 is a Mini Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector, designed to project a large image from a very short distance.

  • Place the projector on a stable, flat surface directly in front of your projection screen or wall.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions in the projection path.
  • The optimal throw size ranges from 60 to 100 inches. Refer to the table below for approximate distances:

3.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cable to the power adapter.
  2. Plug the power adapter into the Type-C Power port on the projector.
  3. Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable electrical outlet.

3.3 Connecting External Devices

The WUPRO G3 offers extensive connectivity options:

  • HDMI 2.0: Connect Blu-ray players, game consoles, laptops, or other HDMI-enabled devices for video input.
  • USB 2.0: Plug in USB flash drives or external hard disks to play media files directly.
  • RJ45 (LAN): Connect an Ethernet cable for a stable wired internet connection.
  • S/PDIF: Connect to an external audio system for enhanced sound quality.
  • Micro USB: For service or specific accessory connections.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press the 'POWER' button on the projector or the remote control. The projector will start up and perform initial auto-calibration.
  • Power Off: Press the 'POWER' button again. A shutdown menu may appear, allowing you to confirm power off or restart.

4.2 Initial Setup and Navigation

Upon first power-on, you will be guided through the initial setup process for Android TV and Google TV.

  1. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/ac 2.4G/5G 2T2R), and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Use the remote control to navigate the Android TV/Google TV interface.
  3. The projector supports a multi-language interface and voice control for convenient operation.

4.3 Projection Adjustments

The WUPRO G3 features automatic adjustment capabilities for a hassle-free viewing experience.

  • Auto Focus: The projector automatically adjusts the focus for a sharp image.
  • Auto Keystone Correction: The image geometry is automatically corrected to ensure a rectangular projection, even if the projector is not perfectly aligned.
  • Obstacle Avoidance: The projector can detect and adjust the image to avoid obstacles in the projection path.

4.4 Audio Output

The WUPRO G3 is equipped with dual 7W high-fidelity speakers for a balanced stereo sound experience.

  • Internal Speakers: Audio will play automatically through the built-in speakers.
  • External Audio: Connect external speakers or a soundbar via the S/PDIF port for a more powerful audio setup.
  • Bluetooth Speaker Mode: The projector can also function as a Bluetooth speaker, allowing you to stream audio from your mobile devices.

4.5 Wireless Casting

The projector supports wireless casting for seamless content sharing from your devices.

  • Apple AirPlay: Cast content from your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac).
  • Android Miracast: Cast content from compatible Android devices.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your WUPRO G3 projector.

5.1 Cleaning

  • Exterior: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the projector's exterior. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Lens: Gently clean the projector lens with a lens cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. Do not use excessive force or harsh chemicals.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation grilles are free from dust and debris to prevent overheating. Use a soft brush or compressed air to clear any blockages.

5.2 Optical Engine

The WUPRO G3 features a Fully Enclosed Optical Engine, which helps to minimize dust ingress and maintain image quality over time. The LED light source has a long lifespan of approximately 20,000 hours.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your projector, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
