Setup
1. App Download & Installation
- Search and download the companion app from major app stores.
- Alternatively, scan the QR code below to install the app.
- After your phone connects to the earbuds via Bluetooth, go to the app's "Home" page and tap "Add New Device". Once the app connects successfully, you can start using it.
This software is free to use for a lifetime and does not charge any fees.
2. Wearing the Earbuds
For optimal sound and comfort, ensure the earbuds are worn correctly. The NE61 features secure-fit ear hooks and comes with 3 ear tip sizes for personalized comfort.
- Insert the earbud into your ear canal.
- Adjust the ear hook over your ear to secure the earbud in place.
3. Initial Pairing
When there is no prior pairing record, the left and right earphones will automatically pair with each other once turned on. After successful pairing, you will hear two beeps.
If the earphones have been previously paired, they will automatically connect to your device when turned on, and you will hear a "beep" prompt.
Operating Instructions
Indicator Light Description
The earbuds and charging case feature indicator lights to show their status:
- Headset On: White light flashes.
- Headset Off: Red light stays on for 2 seconds, then turns off.
- Pairing Status: White light flashing.
- Connection Successful: No light.
- Headphone Charging: Red light stays on. Once fully charged, the red light goes off.
The charging case display screen shows the battery level. When fully charged, it shows 100%. Note: The display screen automatically turns off after about 30 seconds of inactivity. Sliding the screen can reactivate it.
On-Ear Controls
The earbuds feature intuitive on-ear buttons and tactile volume rockers for easy control:
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the multi-function key for 3-5 seconds.
- Phone Mode:
- Answer/End Call: Single press (x1) the multi-function key.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function key for 2 seconds.
- Music Mode:
- Volume Up/Down: Double press (x2) the multi-function key on the respective earbud (Left for Volume Down, Right for Volume Up).
- Next/Previous Track: Triple press (x3) the multi-function key on the respective earbud (Left for Previous, Right for Next).
- Play/Pause: Single press (x1) the multi-function key.
- Voice Assistant (Apple Siri Support): Activate Siri via voice command or a specific tap sequence (refer to app for customization).

Advanced Features
- Noise Reduction and Transparency Mode: For focused workouts or awareness of your surroundings.
- Heart Rate Monitoring: Sensors pulse over 100 times per second to measure your pulse in real-time. Monitor your training performance via the companion app.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds, ear tips, and charging contacts with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Water and Sweat Resistance: The Powerbudts NE61 are sweat and water resistant with an IPX4 rating, making them suitable for workouts and light rain. Do not submerge them in water. Ensure earbuds are dry before placing them in the charging case.
- Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- Earbuds not pairing with each other:
Clear the Bluetooth pairing history. When both ears cannot be paired, clear all connected devices and click the left and right earphones 5 times at the same time.
- Earbuds not connecting to phone:
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the earbuds are charged. If issues persist, try resetting the earphones.
- How to reset the earphones:
If the earphones fail to pair or reconnect to each other, reset them by tapping both earphones five times simultaneously. Note: Resetting the earphones will clear the Bluetooth pairing history.
- No sound or poor audio quality:
Check volume levels on both your device and the earbuds. Ensure earbuds are properly seated in your ears. Try re-pairing the earbuds.
- Charging issues:
Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and a power source. Check the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case for any debris.
