4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the Q58-Max headset. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the device and a suitable USB power source. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

4.2 Installing the Headset on Your Helmet
The Q58-Max is designed for easy installation on various helmet types using the provided mounting clips and Velcro pads.
- Attach the mounting clip to the side of your helmet.
- Secure the main unit to the mounting clip.
- Install the speakers inside the helmet using the Velcro pads, ensuring they are positioned comfortably over your ears.
- Connect the 2-in-1 microphone to the main unit and position it appropriately for clear voice capture.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off and Language Switching
- Power On/Off: Long press the main control button (large circular button) for 3 seconds.
- Language Switch: While the device is disconnected from Bluetooth, double-click the main control button to switch between Chinese and English voice prompts.
5.2 Mode Switching (Bluetooth, FM Radio, MicroSD)
The Q58-Max supports multiple modes. Long press the Mode Switch/Illumination Light button (top left button) to cycle through modes. The top-left icon on the LCD screen will indicate the current mode:
- Bluetooth Mode: For connecting to your phone or other Bluetooth devices.
- FM Radio Mode: For listening to FM radio stations.
- MicroSD Card Mode: For playing MP3 music files directly from a MicroSD card.
5.3 EQ Sound Effects
Double-click the main control button to switch between 6 preset EQ sound effects: Jazz, Natural, Pop, Country, Rock, and Classical. The current EQ mode will be displayed on the screen.

5.4 LED Illumination Light
Short press the Mode Switch/Illumination Light button (top left button) to turn on/off the LED illumination light. This is useful for dark or complex environments.
5.5 Intercom Function
The Q58-Max supports dual 500m intercom communication between two units.
- Enter Intercom Pairing: Short press the Intercom button (top right button). The intercom icon will flash if not connected.
- Exit Intercom Pairing: Long press the Intercom button.
- Enter Intercom Mode: Short press the Intercom button once pairing is successful.
- Intercom Connection: Once connected, the intercom icon will stop flashing and remain solid.

5.6 Volume Control and Track Navigation
- Previous Track / Decrease Volume: Short press the left volume button for previous track, long press to decrease volume.
- Next Track / Increase Volume: Short press the right volume button for next track, long press to increase volume.
5.7 Phone Call Answering (Bluetooth Mode)
In Bluetooth mode, you can switch between manual and automatic answering of phone calls. Double-click the right volume button to toggle this setting.
5.8 Voice Assistant
Long press the Voice Assistant button (side button, next to the charging port) to activate your phone's voice assistant. Short press to close it. This function is available in Bluetooth mode.
5.9 Music Sharing
The Q58-Max supports music sharing between two units. Short press the Music Share button (side button, opposite the charging port) to enter music sharing mode. Double-click to switch between transmitting and receiving states. Follow the voice prompts to confirm the state. Once connected, the music sharing icon will appear on both screens.
5.10 MicroSD Card Usage
To play music from a MicroSD card, insert a card containing MP3 music files into the dedicated slot on the device. The device will automatically switch to MicroSD card mode if not already in it. Music sharing is also supported when playing from a MicroSD card.

5.11 Factory Reset
To restore the device to factory settings, simultaneously press and hold the volume up and volume down buttons for 5 seconds.
