Setup and Installation
1. Mounting the Device
The ESSGOO car stereo is designed for easy, non-destructive installation. It can be mounted on your dashboard using the provided sticker bracket or suction cup bracket (optional). The upgraded soft bottom support mount ensures enhanced stability.
- Choose a suitable location on your dashboard that does not obstruct your view or interfere with driving controls.
- Attach the chosen bracket (sticker or suction cup) to the back of the car stereo.
- Securely mount the stereo to your dashboard.
2. Power Connection
Connect the car stereo to your vehicle's power supply using the provided cigarette lighter power cable. The device supports 12V to 30V vehicles.
- Insert the cigarette lighter power cable into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Ensure the connection is secure. The device should power on automatically or by pressing the power button.
3. Reverse Camera Connection (Optional)
If you have an optional reverse camera, connect it to the designated reverse camera input on the car stereo. The reverse image will automatically display on the screen when the vehicle is in reverse gear.
Operating Instructions
1. Wireless Smartphone Connection (CarPlay / Android Auto)
The device supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows you to access your phone's navigation, music, and other apps directly on the car stereo screen.
For Apple CarPlay:
- On the car stereo, click the Apple CarPlay icon.
- On your iPhone, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Connect to the Bluetooth device named "ESSGOO-XXX" (where XXX is a unique identifier).
- Allow the connection to use CarPlay.
For Android Auto:
- On the car stereo, click the Android Auto icon.
- On your Android phone, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Connect to the Bluetooth device named "ESSGOO-XXX".
- Allow the connection to use Android Auto.
2. Mirror Link
The Mirror Link function allows you to mirror your smartphone's screen directly onto the car stereo display. This is useful for apps not natively supported by CarPlay or Android Auto.
3. Audio Output Modes
The car stereo offers several ways to output audio. While it has a built-in speaker, connecting to your car's audio system is recommended for optimal sound quality.
- Built-in Speaker: The device has a 2W built-in speaker for direct audio output.
- Bluetooth:
- Select CarPlay/Auto mode in the audio output interface of the player.
- Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your phone, and connect to CarPlay or Android Auto via Bluetooth.
- Turn on Bluetooth search in your phone settings and connect to the Bluetooth of the car player. Once connected, sound will be transmitted to your car via your phone's Bluetooth.

- FM Transmitter:
- Select the FM Transmitter option on the car stereo.
- Tune your car's FM radio to the same frequency displayed on the car stereo.
- Note: FM transmission may be subject to interference and offer less stable sound quality.
4. Voice Control
Utilize Siri Assistant (for iOS) or Google Assistant (for Android) for hands-free control of navigation, calls, and music. This feature enhances driving safety by minimizing distractions.
5. Navigation
When connected via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, you can use your phone's navigation applications directly on the car stereo screen. The device itself does not have built-in GPS.
6. Media Playback (TF Card)
Insert a TF card containing your media files into the designated slot on the car stereo to play videos, music, or view pictures.
