1. Introduction
The MAIMEIMI W2 GPS Head-Up Display (HUD) is a versatile digital speedometer projector designed to enhance your driving experience by displaying essential vehicle speed information directly in your line of sight. Featuring a dual-mode GPS+BEIDOU chip, it offers accurate speed readings in both kilometers per hour (KM/H) and miles per hour (MPH). Its plug-and-play design ensures easy installation across a wide range of vehicles, including cars, buses, trucks, motorcycles, and even new energy vehicles. The integrated hood design prevents dazzling at night, while the automatic light sensor adjusts brightness for optimal visibility day and night.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
The W2 HUD features an automatic switch function. It will automatically turn on when your vehicle starts and turn off when the vehicle stops, ensuring no electricity theft when the car is off.
4.2 Speed Display
The device displays vehicle speed. It can be freely switched between kilometers per hour (KM/H) and miles per hour (MPH). Refer to the physical buttons or settings menu on the device for switching options.
4.3 Automatic Light Sensor
The W2 HUD is equipped with an automatic light sensor that adapts the display brightness to ambient light conditions. The display will be clearly visible during the day and automatically darken at night to prevent dazzling.

4.4 Overspeed Alarm
The device includes a three-stage overspeed alarm function. Consult the device's settings or physical buttons to configure the speed thresholds for these alarms.
4.5 Speed Error Adjustment
You can adjust the speed error to calibrate the display with your vehicle's actual speed. Refer to the device's menu or physical buttons for instructions on how to perform this adjustment.
5. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Ensure the USB connection is secure and free from debris.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents on the display or casing.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 No Speed Display or Incorrect Speed
- GPS Signal: The W2 HUD collects speed data from satellites. If you are testing the device indoors, in a parking garage, or in an area with poor satellite reception, the speed may not display correctly or at all. Move the vehicle to an open area with a clear view of the sky for optimal GPS signal reception.
- Power Connection: Ensure the Type-C USB cable is securely connected to both the HUD unit and a functioning 5V power source.
- Vehicle Movement: The device requires vehicle movement to register speed.
6.2 Display is Blurry or Double-Imaged
- Reflective Film: Apply the provided reflective film to your windshield where the HUD projects the image. This helps to eliminate ghosting or double images.
- Positioning: Adjust the angle and position of the HUD unit on the dashboard to find the clearest projection.
6.3 Device Does Not Turn On
- Power Source: Verify that the vehicle's 5V USB power source is active. Test with another USB device if possible.
- Cable Integrity: Check the Type-C USB cable for any damage. Try using a different compatible cable if available.
- Voltage: Ensure the power supply is exactly 5V. Do not use a voltage higher than 5V.
