1. Product Overview

The Zemismart Zigbee Smart Switch is an advanced wall-mounted switch designed for intelligent control of lighting and smart home scenes. It is available in two main configurations: a 4-gang light switch with 2 scene switches, and a 6-gang switch composed of two 3-gang switch modules. This device requires a neutral wire for installation and operates via the Zigbee protocol, necessitating a compatible Zigbee hub (such as Tuya Zigbee Hub or Smartthings hub) for smart functionality. It supports integration with popular voice assistants like Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit (with specific hub compatibility).

3. Installation

3.1 Prerequisites

• A compatible Zigbee hub (e.g., Tuya Zigbee Hub, Smartthings hub) is required.
• A neutral wire must be present in your electrical wiring for the switch to function.
• Basic electrical knowledge and tools for switch installation.

3.2 Wiring Diagram

CAUTION: It is suggested to install this by an electrician and other professionals. Before installation, it is necessary to make sure that the line is in a power-off state.

1. Turn off the main power supply at your circuit breaker to prevent electric shock.
2. Remove your existing wall switch.
3. Identify the Live, Neutral, Ground, and Load wires.
4. Connect the Live wire to the 'Live' terminal (L) on the smart switch.
5. Connect the Neutral wire to the 'Neutral' terminal (N) on the smart switch.
6. Connect the Ground wire to the 'Ground' terminal on the smart switch.
7. Connect the Load wires (to your lights) to the corresponding Load terminals (L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6) on the smart switch.
8. Carefully mount the smart switch into the wall box and secure it.
9. Restore power at the circuit breaker.

3.3 Pairing with Tuya App and Zigbee Hub

The switch requires a Tuya Zigbee Hub to be found and controlled within the Tuya App.

1. Ensure your Tuya Zigbee Hub is powered on and connected to your network.
2. Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life App on your smartphone.
3. Navigate to the Zigbee control page within the app.
4. Follow the in-app instructions to add a new sub-device. The switch should be detected and added to your hub.
5. Once added, you can rename the switch and individual gangs for easier control.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Manual Control

The switch features a large panel frameless design with physical push buttons for quick and responsive feedback. Simply press the desired button to toggle the connected light or activate a scene.

4.2 Indicator Light

Each button on the switch has an independent indicator light. When the switch is "on", the indicator is off. When the switch is "off", the indicator is on. This clearly shows the switch position, especially useful at night.

4.7 Group Control

• Hub Compatibility Note:

  The Zigbee Smart 4 Gang + 2 Scene switch (model KES-606US-Z4+2) is NOT compatible with the HomeKit ZMHK-01 hub. It is designed to work with T1 and M1 HomeKit hubs.
