1. Introduction

The Smart Finder GPS Tracker is a compact, Bluetooth-enabled device designed to help you keep track of your valuable items. It offers features such as real-time tracking, anti-loss alarms, and precise positioning through a dedicated mobile application. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up and using your Smart Finder.

3. Setup Guide

3.1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the back cover of the Smart Finder by twisting it clockwise.
  2. Remove the insulating sheet if present.
  3. Install the battery (CR2032, included) with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Close the back cover by twisting it counter-clockwise until secure.

3.2. App Download and Connection

  1. Locate the QR code in the instruction manual provided with your device.
  2. Scan the QR code with your mobile phone to download the dedicated "iSearching" app from the App Store or Google Play.
  3. Once the app is downloaded, open it.
  4. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone.
  5. In the "iSearching" app, click the "Add" (+) icon (usually in the upper left corner of the screen) to search for your device.
  6. If the device is not detected, try turning your phone's Bluetooth off and on again, then repeat the search process.
  7. Once detected, the app will connect to the Smart Finder. You can then name the device and set up various functions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Finding Items

When your Smart Finder is connected to the app, you can easily locate your items:

  • Open the "iSearching" app on your phone or tablet.
  • Tap the "Play Sound" button within the app. The Smart Finder will emit an audible "Dilili" sound, guiding you to your lost item.

4.2. Anti-Loss Alarm

The Smart Finder features a bidirectional anti-loss alarm:

  • Tracker Alarm: If the Smart Finder moves out of the Bluetooth range (approximately 10-50 meters) from your phone, both your phone and the tracker will sound an alarm. This helps prevent you from leaving important items behind.
  • Phone Alarm: If you cannot find your phone, double-click the button on the Smart Finder. Your phone will sound a warning tone, even if it's on silent mode.

4.3. Location Tracking

The app records the last known location of your Smart Finder. If the connection between your phone and the tracker is lost, the app will mark the location on a map where the disconnection occurred. This helps narrow down your search area.

5. Maintenance

5.1. General Care

  • Keep the device clean and dry.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the device beyond battery replacement.

5.2. Battery Replacement

The Smart Finder uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery. When the battery is low, the app may notify you, or the device's performance may degrade.

  1. Twist the back cover clockwise to open.
  2. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Twist the back cover counter-clockwise to close securely.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Device Not Connecting to App

  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone.
  • Try turning your phone's Bluetooth off and on again.
  • Restart the "iSearching" app.
  • Ensure the Smart Finder has a fresh battery and the insulating sheet has been removed.
  • Move the Smart Finder closer to your phone.

6.2. Alarm Not Sounding

  • Check the app settings to ensure the alarm function is enabled.
  • Verify that your phone's volume is not muted or too low.
  • Ensure the device is within Bluetooth range for the out-of-range alarm to function.
