5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
- Align the battery with the contacts and gently push it into place until it clicks securely.
5.2 Antenna Attachment
- Locate the antenna port on the top of the radio.
- Screw the provided antenna clockwise into the port until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
5.3 SIM Card Insertion
The T70 uses a Micro SIM card for network connectivity.
- Carefully open the SIM card slot cover, usually located on the side or back of the device.
- Insert the Micro SIM card into the designated slot with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring correct orientation.
- Close the SIM card slot cover securely to maintain water resistance.
