Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure your vehicle's power is off. Professional installation is recommended.

1. Wiring Connections

Refer to the wiring diagram below for proper connection of the power, horn, microphone, audio/video, and antenna cables.

  • Power Cable: Connect to your vehicle's power supply.
  • Horn Cable: Connect to your vehicle's horn system if applicable.
  • MIC: External microphone input.
  • R-OUT/L-OUT: Right and Left audio outputs.
  • V1-OUT/V2-OUT: Video outputs for external displays.
  • V1-IN/V2-IN: Video inputs.
  • ANT: Antenna input for radio reception.

2. DAB Antenna Installation

For optimal DAB+ radio reception, install the included DAB antenna according to the following steps:

  1. Disassemble the plastic border of the right window.
  2. Remove the protective paper from the black film and transparent film on the antenna.
  3. Stick the black film on the metal frame and the transparent film on the glass. Remember to leave a 2-3cm gap for the plastic border.
  4. Tighten the black film and transparent film, and fix the cable securely.
  5. Put the plastic border back. Be careful not to break the cable.

Important Note:

Before installation, you need to remove the protective paper from the black film and transparent film on the Antenna. The copper part must be connected with metal (ground electrode).

Operation

1. User Interface Overview

The 7-inch HD touchscreen provides intuitive control over all functions. The front panel features physical buttons and ports for quick access.

  • MIC: Built-in microphone.
  • IR: Infrared receiver for remote control (if applicable).
  • Previous/Next Song: Navigate tracks.
  • Home: Return to the main menu.
  • Volume Knob: Rotate to adjust volume. Short press for mute, long press for power off.
  • SD Card Slot: Insert SD card for media playback.
  • AUX: Auxiliary audio input.
  • USB: USB port for media playback and charging.
  • RES: Reset button.

2. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

Connect your smartphone for seamless integration with your car radio. This allows access to navigation, calls, messages, and music directly from the unit's display.

3. Mirror Link (Wired)

Mirror your smartphone screen (iOS/Android) to the car radio display via a wired connection. This allows you to view videos, photos, and use other phone functions on the larger screen.

4. Radio Functions (FM & DAB+)

The unit supports both FM and DAB+ radio. DAB+ provides superior sound quality and a wider range of stations without interference.

7. Equalizer (EQ) Sound Effects

8. Steering Wheel Control

9. Rear View Camera (Optional)

11. Color Backlight Setting

Troubleshooting

  • Installation Frame: The product is a 2 Din unit. Depending on your vehicle's dashboard, an additional mounting frame or fascia adapter might be required for a seamless fit. This is typically vehicle-specific and not included with the universal head unit.
