2. Safety Precautions

  • Do not use the product to heat flammable items.
  • After use, always unplug the power cord. Do not touch the heating plate immediately after use to avoid burns.
  • If your hands are wet, do not touch or plug in the power cord.
  • Do not place the product in a microwave oven or high-temperature sterilizer for disinfection.

4. Setup and Assembly

  1. **Unpack**: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. **Initial Cleaning**: Before first use, wash all inner containers, lids, and the steaming plate with warm soapy water. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry.
  3. **Plug Type**: Select the appropriate power adapter for your region (CN/US, AU, EU, UK).

    • Close the outer lid securely.
    • Erect the portable carrying handle. This action automatically locks the lid in place.
    • To open, press the button on the side of the handle and lift the handle.

5. Operating Instructions

The Bear Electric Lunch Box offers multiple functions including heating, steaming, stewing, and heat preservation, controlled by a microcomputer touch panel.

5.1. Preparing Your Meal

  1. **Add Water**: For all steaming and heating functions, you must add an appropriate amount of water to the main heating plate area. The water level should not exceed the maximum water line.

  2. **Fill Containers**: Place your food items into the 304 stainless steel inner containers. The 1.6L capacity model comes with four independent containers, allowing for separate storage of rice, dishes, and fruits without mixing flavors.

  3. **Place Containers**: Arrange the filled inner containers inside the main unit. If steaming, ensure the inner lids are slightly open or removed to allow steam circulation and prevent damage to the sealing strips.
  4. **Close Lid**: Securely close the outer lid as described in the Setup section.

5.2. Using the Control Panel

The control panel features touch buttons for time setting and function selection.

  1. **Power On**: Plug the detachable power cord into the unit and a suitable power outlet.
  2. **Select Function**: Press the "Function" button to cycle through available modes (Heating, Steaming, Stewing, Heat Preservation).
  3. **Set Time**: Use the "Time" button to adjust the cooking or heating duration.
    • Heating food: Approximately 20 minutes.
    • Cooking rice/steaming: Approximately 30-40 minutes.
  4. **Reservation (Timed Start)**: The lunch box supports a reservation function from 0.5 to 9.5 hours.

  1. **Unplug**: Always unplug the power cord and allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. **Inner Components**: Wash the stainless steel inner containers, inner lids, outer lid, and steaming plate with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These parts are dishwasher safe.
  3. **Main Unit**: Wipe the exterior and the heating plate of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or rinse it under running water.
