1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your new Hizpo 9.7 inch AI Carplay Android Car Radio. This advanced multimedia player is designed to enhance your driving experience with features like AI voice control, GPS navigation, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, and a high-resolution QLED display. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper functionality and safety.

2. Compatibility

This unit is specifically designed for Ford Fiesta models manufactured between 2009 and 2017, and is compatible with vehicles featuring the factory SYNC function.

Important Compatibility Notes:

• This product supports original cars with a "SONY" logo.
• It is NOT compatible if the original car does not have a screen in the center position.
• It is NOT compatible if the original car center console has a "PASS AIRBAG OFF" button function.

4. Installation

4.1 Pre-Installation Notes

• All products undergo strict quality tests before shipment.
• Professional installation is highly recommended. A car maintenance store is the best choice for installation.
• The radio's power cable is designed for plug-and-play installation.
• If your car's original wire connectors are not the same as those provided, you may need to order a separate adapter. Contact customer service for assistance.
• The hole on the car dashboard panel in most countries can be plugged directly into the frame of our radio. However, there might be slight differences in some regions, requiring a small modification (cutting a hole) for installation. If you are uncomfortable with this, please do not purchase.

4.2 Wiring Diagram

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Functions

• Processor: Quad Core 1.2GHz (or Eight core UIS 7862A 1.8Ghz / UIS 7862S 2.0Hhz, depending on model)

• Connectivity: Built-in Wi-Fi (2.4Ghz/5Ghz), Bluetooth 5.0, optional 4G Network.
• Multimedia: Supports MP3, MP4, WMA, JPEG formats.
• Steering Wheel Control: Compatible with original steering wheel controls.
• RDS: Radio Data System support.
• DSP: Digital Sound Processor (optional, BU32107EFV for S-series).

5.2 User Interface Overview

The unit features an intuitive user interface with quick access to applications, power and split-screen controls, time/date display, music playback, weather, and air conditioning controls.

5.3 Day & Night Mode

The OS 2.0 for S-series offers continuously evolving car multimedia player features, including Day Mode and Night Mode. This ensures optimal screen brightness and visibility in various lighting conditions, reducing glare at night and providing sufficient brightness during the day.

5.4 CarPlay / Android Auto

The S1/S2/S3/S4/S5/S7/S8 versions support built-in wireless CarPlay and wired/wireless Android Auto. Simply connect your phone to access navigation, music, podcasts, and more. Supports Siri for CarPlay and Google Assistant for Android Auto.

5.5 AI Voice Control System

The AI Voice Control System allows for hands-free operation, enhancing driving safety. Simply speak commands to control the radio. The AI Intelligent Assistant Pack (available for S-series S3, S4, S5, S7, S8) includes features like track tracking, parking location, and online radio functions.

5.6 GPS Navigation

The unit supports both online and offline GPS navigation using Google Maps, Herewego, IGO, Sygic, and Yandex. Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or 4G LTE for online maps, or download maps for offline use. Features include lane guidance and voice sensory information.

5.7 Split Screen & Picture-in-Picture (PIP)

Utilize the split-screen function to run two applications simultaneously, such as navigation and music, or ADAS camera and music. The Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature allows you to watch videos in a small, resizable window on top of other applications.

5.8 Bluetooth 5.0 & Wi-Fi

Enjoy stable and long-distance Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for hands-free calls and audio streaming. The unit also supports dual-channel Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) for robust internet access. The main interface can display your connected phone's battery level.

5.9 Built-in 4G Network (Optional)

For models with 4G support, insert a SIM card and connect the 4G antenna to access mobile data. This allows for continuous online functionality. (S1/S2 versions do not include this feature).

5.10 Network Sharing

The unit supports three ways to share network from your iPhone or Android phone: Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth tethering (for lower bandwidth needs), and USB network tethering (an exclusive S-series feature).

5.11 Online Radio

With an internet data connection, you can listen to online radio channels with no noise interference, providing an ultimate listening experience. The system supports online radio from over 20 countries, with options to customize settings and add favorites.

5.12 Steering Wheel Control

Easily change music tracks, adjust volume, and manage other functions directly from your car's steering wheel, enhancing safety and convenience.

6. Optional Accessories

The following accessories can be purchased separately to expand the functionality of your Hizpo Car Radio:

6.1 ADAS DVR Camera

Connects via USB port. Features include Lane Departure Warning Distance (LDWS), Forward Collision Warning Distance (FCWS), and 1080P High Definition Car DVR recording. For S-series (S3-S8), remote photo and remote monitoring functions are available.

6.2 OBD2 Scanner (Torque Pro)

Supports Torque Pro (OBD2 & Car) function. You can connect a PJ-908 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner Tool (not included) to monitor various car parameters like air velocity, fuel status, pressure, temperature, and read error codes.

6.3 DAB+ Box

Connects via USB port. Allows access to Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB+) radio programs with improved sound quality and less noise compared to traditional FM. The unit can power the connected DAB+ Box.

6.4 TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)

Real-time display of 4 tire pressures and temperatures. The system will provide warnings if tire temperature is high or pressure is low.

6.5 AV-OUT Box

An optional AV output interface or HDMI output interface for connecting external displays.

6.6 Rear View System

Supports a backup camera (needs to be ordered separately) to display troublesome blind spots on the monitor, aiding in safe reversing by showing hazards like pets, children, or mailboxes. The system supports AHD 1080P reversing cameras with night vision and SONY lens, offering a 160° wide angle.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cooling Fan

The S-series 8Core models include a small cooling fan. If the CPU temperature exceeds 50°C, the system automatically activates the fan. If the temperature drops below 50°C, the fan will automatically turn off. You can also manually control the fan. This feature helps prevent damage to the PCB board from high temperatures (above 85°C) during prolonged high-speed operation.

7.2 USB Connections

The S-series supports up to three USB connections simultaneously, allowing you to connect a USB flash drive, DVR, DAB+, or TPMS devices at the same time. The USB port supports up to 2TB external memory for playing video and audio files.

8. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Check all power cable connections. Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the car's power source and the head unit. Verify car's fuse box.
• No Sound: Check speaker connections. Ensure the volume is not muted or set too low. Verify DSP settings if applicable.
• GPS Signal Issues: Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed and has a clear view of the sky.
• Bluetooth Connection Problems: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the head unit and your mobile device. Try unpairing and re-pairing the devices.
• CarPlay/Android Auto Not Working: Ensure your phone's cable is properly connected (for wired Android Auto) or Wi-Fi/Bluetooth is active (for wireless). Check phone settings for CarPlay/Android Auto permissions.
• Screen Unresponsive: Try restarting the unit. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• Original Car Information Not Displaying: Ensure the Canbus box is correctly installed and configured. For S-series, the factory settings password is '8888'. For P-series, the password is '1617'. Navigate to 'Car Model' and select the correct vehicle.

10. User Tips

• CANbus Configuration: For S-series models, access factory settings with password '8888' to configure the CANbus type and car model. For P-series, use password '1617'. This is crucial for proper integration with your vehicle's original functions.
• Installation Assistance: If you encounter difficulties during installation, especially with wiring, contact customer service for support. Professional installation is always recommended.
• Compatibility Check: Always double-check the shape and size of your car's center console against the product's dimensions before purchasing to ensure compatibility.
