Setup & Connection
The FANTECH TAMAGO II WHG04 offers three connection modes:
1. 2.4GHz Wireless Mode (via USB-A Dongle)
- Plug the USB-A Dongle into an available USB port on your PC, PS4, PS5, or Nintendo Switch dock.
- Power on your FANTECH TAMAGO II WHG04 headset by pressing and holding the Multi-Function Button until the indicator light turns on.
- The headset should automatically connect to the dongle. The indicator light will show a steady color (e.g., blue or white) when connected.
- Ensure the headset is selected as the audio output and input device in your system settings.
2. Bluetooth 5.3 Mode
- Power on your FANTECH TAMAGO II WHG04 headset.
- Press and hold the Multi-Function Button until the indicator light flashes rapidly (usually blue/red alternating), indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (PC, smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "FANTECH TAMAGO II WHG04" from the list.
- Once paired, the indicator light on the headset will turn solid.
3. Wired Mode (via USB-C to 3.5mm Jack Cable)
- Connect the USB-C end of the audio cable to the headset.
- Connect the 3.5mm jack end to the audio port of your device (PC, PS4/PS5 controller, Switch, mobile phone, etc.).
- The headset will function as a passive wired headset. No battery power is required in this mode.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Multi-Function Button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Multi-Function Button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
Volume Control
- Use the Volume Scroll wheel located on the earcup to adjust the audio volume up or down.
Microphone Usage
- Unmute: Fold the microphone down into position.
- Mute: Fold the microphone up towards the headband. The instant mute function is available only in wireless mode.
- The Environmental Noise Canceling (ENC) feature helps reduce background noise for clearer voice transmission.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Microphone Not Working
- Ensure the microphone is folded down and not muted.
- Check that the correct audio input device is selected in your system settings.
- Test the microphone on another device if possible.
Connection Issues (Wireless)
- 2.4GHz Wireless: Ensure the USB-A dongle is securely plugged in and the headset is within range (up to 10m). Try re-pairing by turning the headset off and on, and re-inserting the dongle.
- Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the headset is in pairing mode. Forget the device in your Bluetooth settings and try pairing again. Keep the headset within 10m of the device.
