2. Safety Information

Main Unit Controls:

  • Air Pressure Adjustment Knob: Controls the air pressure from 0-45 PSI. Pull out to adjust, push in to lock.

5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your HH-G02 Engraver for first use. An external air compressor (not included) is required.

  1. Install the Filter: Attach the provided filter to the designated filter connector at the back of the main unit. Secure it with the appropriate Allen wrench.
  2. Connect Pneumatic Tubes:
    a. Connect one end of the clear pneumatic tube to the filter's output and the other end to the 'Air Input' port on the main unit.
    b. Connect the orange pneumatic tube (or similar) from your external air compressor to the filter's input.
    c. Connect the clear pneumatic tube from the foot pedal to the 'Throttle Connection' port on the main unit.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the power converter, then connect the converter to the 'Power Connection' port on the main unit. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Connect Handpiece: Attach the handpiece's pneumatic tube to one of the 'Handle Quick Connection Ports' on the front of the main unit.
  5. Insert Engraving Tool: Use an Allen wrench to loosen the chuck on the handpiece, insert your desired engraving tool, and then tighten the chuck securely.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the power switch on the main unit. The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Adjust Air Pressure: Pull out the 'Air Pressure Adjustment Knob' and rotate it to set the desired pressure, observing the 'Precision Pressure Gauge'. Once set, push the knob back in to lock it.
  3. Adjust Handpiece Speed: Rotate the 'SPM Dial' to set the desired handpiece working speed.
  4. Begin Engraving: Place the material to be engraved on a stable surface. Hold the handpiece firmly and press the foot pedal to activate the engraving action. The foot pedal allows for precise control over cutting speed and depth.
  5. Practice: It is recommended to practice on scrap materials to get a feel for the machine's settings and your desired engraving effect before working on your final piece.
