6. Setup
Before operating the HBM200, ensure proper connections for your desired welding process.

6.1 Gasless MIG Connection
- Connect the MIG torch to the designated MIG output terminal on the front panel.
- Connect the Earth Clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
- Attach the Earth Clamp securely to the workpiece.
- Ensure the flux-cored wire is correctly loaded into the wire feeder and threaded through the MIG torch.
6.2 MMA (ARC) Connection
- Connect the Electrode Holder to the positive (+) terminal.
- Connect the Earth Clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
- Attach the Earth Clamp securely to the workpiece.
- Insert the welding electrode into the electrode holder.
6.3 Lift TIG Connection
- Connect the TIG torch (not included in standard package) to the negative (-) terminal.
- Connect the Earth Clamp to the positive (+) terminal.
- Attach the Earth Clamp securely to the workpiece.
- Ensure the TIG torch has a tungsten electrode installed and is connected to an argon gas supply (if using gas).
7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Power On/Off
Locate the power switch on the rear panel of the machine. Flip it to the 'ON' position to power up the welder. The digital display will illuminate. To turn off, flip the switch to 'OFF'.
7.2 Mode Selection
Press the 'Function Mode Button' on the front panel to cycle through the available welding modes: MMA, Gasless MIG, and Lift TIG. The selected mode will be indicated on the digital display.
7.3 Current Adjustment
Use the 'Current Adjust Knob' to set the desired welding current (Amperage). The value will be shown on the digital display. Adjust the current according to the material thickness and welding wire/electrode specifications.
7.4 Welding Process
- Select the appropriate welding mode.
- Set the welding current.
- Position yourself safely and ensure proper ventilation.
