Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper installation, programming, and maintenance of your device.
Important Safety Information
- Freezing Temperatures: Do not allow the timer to freeze. Freezing temperatures can permanently damage your timer. In winter, please drain the water inside the water timer, remove the batteries, and store it indoors.
- Tools: Do not use tools on the timer. Hand tighten only. Use of tools may damage the timer.
- Filter Washer: Keep the filter washer clean and in place when using the timer. Replace the filter if damaged. Debris entering the timer may prevent it from closing.
- Batteries: Only alkaline AA batteries are allowed. Carbon-Zinc batteries and rechargeable batteries are not to be used.

Installation
1. Installing the Batteries
- Remove the cover on the back of the timer by pulling it out.
- Insert two AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.
- Replace the battery tray and cover.

2. Installing the Hose Timer and Checking for Leaks

- Screw the hose timer to your garden faucet by hand.
- Use the provided Teflon tape and extra rubber ring (found in the accessories bag) to effectively prevent leaks. Wrap the tape from left to right around the threads.
- Ensure the filter is in place before connecting.
- Connect your garden hoses to the two 3/4" outlets at the bottom of the timer.
- For optimal performance and to prevent water leakage, ensure horizontal mounting.
Note on Faucet Thread Standards:
As faucet thread standards vary by region, please ensure compatibility:
- BSP (British Standard Pipe): Applicable to most European countries, the UK, South Korea, Australia, etc.
- NH (National Hose): Applicable to the US, Canada, Mexico, etc.
Operating Instructions
The Diivoo water timer allows for flexible programming of two independent watering zones.
Programming the Timer
- Step 1: Set Clock
- Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.
- Press the +/- buttons to advance/reverse the clock time. Hold the button for quick adjustment.
- Turn the dial to save changes.
- Note: Hold the ZONE button to switch between 12H and 24H format if needed.
- Step 2: Start Time
- Turn the dial to START TIME.
- Press the ZONE button to select the outlet (Zone 1 or Zone 2) you want to program.
- Press the +/- buttons to set the desired start time for watering. Hold the button for quick adjustment.
- Turn the dial to save changes.
- Note: If the START TIME shows OFF, the watering plan for that zone will not activate.
- Step 3: How Long (Watering Duration)
- Turn the dial to HOW LONG.
- Press the ZONE button to select the outlet (Zone 1 or Zone 2) you want to program.
- Set the watering duration from 0 to 240 minutes using the +/- buttons. Hold the button for quick adjustment.
- Turn the dial to save changes.
- Note: The maximum watering duration for HOW LONG depends on the value of HOW OFTEN:
- If HOW OFTEN is 1H, max HOW LONG is 59 MINS.
- If HOW OFTEN is 3H, max HOW LONG is 179 MINS.
- If HOW OFTEN is greater than 3H, max HOW LONG is 240 MINS.
- Step 4: How Often (Watering Frequency)
- Turn the dial to HOW OFTEN.
- Press the ZONE button to select the outlet (Zone 1 or Zone 2) you want to program.
- Set the watering frequency as every 1hr, 3hrs, 6hrs, 12hrs, or from 1 to 7 days using the + and - buttons.
- Turn the dial to save changes.
- Note: '1' means every day, '2' means every other day, etc., up to 7 days.
- Step 5: Automatic Watering
- Turn the dial to AUTO.
- Turn on the garden faucet.
- Your hose timer will now water according to the programmed time, zone, duration, and frequency.
Additional Features
Rain Delay

Rain delay allows you to postpone watering for a set period of time (1 to 7 days).
- With the dial on AUTO, press and hold the +/DELAY button for 2 seconds to select a delay of 1~7 days.
- The screen will show the days remaining before the programmed cycle resumes.
- To remove rain delay:
- Press and hold the +/DELAY button for 2 seconds again, OR
- Turn the dial to OFF and then back to AUTO.
Manual Watering
This feature allows you to water temporarily without interrupting your set schedule.
- With the dial on AUTO, press the MANUAL button.
- Press the ZONE button to select the outlet (Zone 1 or Zone 2) you want to water.
- Use the +/- buttons to select the watering time, from 0 to 240 minutes. (There will be a slight delay between pressing the + button and when watering begins.)
- To stop manual watering:
- Press the MANUAL button again, OR
- Turn the dial to OFF and then back to AUTO.
OFF Mode
Turning the dial to OFF at any time will stop all watering plans for an extended period. To resume your programmed watering schedule, you must turn the dial back to AUTO.
User Tips
- Rain Sensor: The Diivoo dual hose timer does not include a built-in rain sensor. To prevent over-watering during rainy periods, remember to manually activate the Rain Delay feature based on local weather forecasts.
- Battery Life: To maximize battery life, ensure you are using fresh AA alkaline batteries. If the display becomes dim or unresponsive, replace the batteries promptly.
Troubleshooting
Water does not come on at desired time:
- Check if the clock is set to the correct time, including AM and PM.
- Ensure the dial is set to "Auto".
- Verify the start time is set to the desired time, including AM and PM.
- Check if Rain Delay is active. Clear it if necessary.
Timer does not water or has low flow:
- Check if the timer is set to AUTO.
- Ensure the hose faucet is turned on.
- Check if batteries are low and replace if needed.
- Verify the clock is set to the correct time, including AM and PM.
- Check if Rain Delay is active. Clear it if necessary.
- Ensure the filter washer screen is clean.
- Confirm water pressure is above 7.25 psi.
Water won't turn off:
- Check if HOW LONG is set to the desired time.
- Check if HOW OFTEN is set to the desired interval hour or day.
Timer is leaking:
- Check if the filter washer is in place.
- Ensure the filter washer is clean and undamaged.
- Confirm the faucet connection is hand tight.
