5. Setup Guide

5.1 Charging the Device

  3. The device will fully charge in approximately 1.5 hours. A full charge provides about 10-12 hours of continuous use.

5.2 NFC Pairing (Receiver Mode)

For quick and hassle-free connection with NFC-enabled smartphones:

  1. Ensure the device is in Receiver (RX) mode.
  2. Enable NFC on your smartphone.
  3. Tap your phone close to the NFC sensor area on the device.
  4. Your phone will automatically connect or disconnect from the device.

5.3 Connecting in Receiver (RX) Mode

Use RX mode to receive Bluetooth audio from your phone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device and output it to wired speakers, amplifiers, or car stereos.

  1. Set the mode switch on the device to RX.
  2. Connect the device to your active speakers, amplifier, or car stereo using the appropriate audio cable (3.5mm AUX or RCA).
  3. On your phone or tablet, search for Bluetooth devices and select "OMS-M13" to pair.
  4. Once connected, audio from your phone will play through the connected speakers.
  5. The device supports connecting two cell phones simultaneously in RX mode. Pair the first phone, then pair the second. The device will intelligently switch between them.

5.4 Connecting in Transmitter (TX) Mode

Use TX mode to transmit audio from non-Bluetooth devices like TVs, PCs, or projectors to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Set the mode switch on the device to TX.
  2. Connect the device to your TV, PC, laptop, decoder, or projector using the appropriate audio cable (3.5mm AUX, RCA, Coaxial, or Optical).
  3. Put your Bluetooth headphones or speaker into pairing mode.
  4. The OMS-M13 will automatically search for nearby Bluetooth devices and connect to them.
  5. Once connected, audio from your source device will play through your Bluetooth headphones/speaker.

5.5 USB Disk Playback

The device supports playing lossless audio files directly from a USB disk.

  1. Insert a USB disk containing supported audio files (MP3/WAV/WMA/APE/FLAC/M4A/ALAC/AMR) into the USB port on the device.
  2. The device will automatically detect and begin playing audio from the USB disk.
  3. Use the keypad controls to manage playback (play/pause, next/previous track).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Mode Switching

Use the physical switch on the side of the device to toggle between Receiver (RX) and Transmitter (TX) modes. The LED display will indicate the current mode.

6.2 RGB Lighting Modes

The device features cool RGB phantom color lights with three distinct modes:

  • Diffusion Pattern: Lights flow from the center to the sides.
  • Shrinkage Mode: Lights flow from the sides to the center.
  • Phantom Mode: Rhythmic flow of lights, includes 6 color modes (cyan, greener, red, soft green, violet, yellow).

Use the dedicated button on the keypad area to cycle through the RGB lighting modes and adjust colors.

6.3 Digital Display

The high-definition LED digital display provides real-time information about the device's status, including:

  • Cannot pair with a Bluetooth device:

  • No sound output/input:

    • Ensure the correct input source is selected on your amplifier or speakers.
    • If using Optical/Coaxial, ensure the source device is outputting digital audio.
  • Can I connect two Bluetooth headphones in TX mode?
    • No, the OMS-M13 supports connecting to one Bluetooth headphone or speaker at a time in Transmitter (TX) mode. The 'Intelligent One-Two' feature is for connecting two mobile phones in Receiver (RX) mode.

9. Maintenance
