2. Safety Information
- Always ensure the electric scooter is powered off before performing any installation or maintenance.
- Incorrect wiring can damage the components or lead to unsafe operation. If unsure, seek professional assistance.
- Ensure all connections are secure and waterproofed if exposed to the elements.
3. Setup and Installation
The Jh-01 throttle and display unit is designed for easy installation. It connects to your electric scooter's controller via a 6-pin connector. The controllers (36V or 48V) are typically installed within the scooter's frame.
3.1 Components
- Jh-01 Throttle Accelerator and Display Unit
- Electric Scooter Controller (36V or 48V, purchased separately or as a kit)
3.2 Installation Steps
- Mount the Throttle: Securely attach the Jh-01 throttle unit to your scooter's handlebar using the integrated clamp and screws. Ensure it is positioned comfortably for operation.
- Connect the Throttle: Locate the 6-pin connector on the Jh-01 unit and connect it to the corresponding 6-pin port on your electric scooter's controller. Ensure the connection is firm.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- Press and hold the Power button (red button with power symbol) to turn the display unit on or off.
4.2 Throttle Operation
- Gently press the accelerator lever with your thumb to engage the motor and control speed.
- Release the lever to reduce speed or stop.
4.3 Mode Selection
- Press the MODE button (red button labeled 'MODE') to cycle through different display modes or settings, such as speed, battery level, odometer, etc. (Specific display functions may vary based on controller and scooter model).
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the display and throttle unit with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections for looseness or damage. Ensure the throttle lever moves freely without obstruction.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the scooter and its components in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
6. Troubleshooting
- Display Not Turning On: Check battery connection and ensure the 6-pin connector is fully seated. Verify the scooter's main power is on.
- Throttle Not Responding: Ensure the throttle is properly connected to the controller. Check for any physical obstructions to the throttle lever. Verify the controller is receiving power.
- Inconsistent Performance: Inspect all wiring for damage or loose connections. Ensure the correct voltage controller (36V or 48V) is matched to your scooter's battery.
- Appearance Variation: Note that due to production batch differences, the appearance of the product may vary slightly, but its functionality remains the same.

- Before riding, always perform a quick check of the throttle response and brake function to ensure safe operation.
- If you experience any issues, double-check all connections before assuming a component failure.
