4. Setup Guide

4.1. Charging and Installing the Battery

  1. Insert the NP-70 Li-ion battery into the provided battery charger.
  2. Connect the charger to a power source using the USB cable. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status.
  3. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
  4. Open the battery compartment cover on the camcorder.
  5. Insert the charged battery into the compartment, ensuring correct orientation. Close the cover securely.

4.2. Inserting an SD Card

  1. Locate the SD card slot on the camcorder.
  2. Insert a compatible SD card (Max: 512GB, U3 or higher speed recommended for 4K recording) into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently press the card until it pops out.

4.3. Initial Power On

  1. Press and hold the 'Power' button to turn on the camcorder.
  2. The 3.5-inch IPS touchscreen will light up.
