- Starting Point: Define the initial position for winding.
- Wire Gauge: Input the diameter of the wire being used (0.04-1.20mm).
- Winding Displacement Width: Set the width of the coil winding area.
- Circles: Specify the number of turns for each winding layer.
- Speed Settings: Adjust the speed of starting the winding, stopping slow-speed, main winding speed, and slow lathe speed.
- Winding Direction: Select the desired winding direction.
- Two-Terminal Stopping: Configure stopping points at both ends of the winding.
- Automatic Reset: Enable automatic reset for continuous operations.
- Automatic Start (Job-hopping winding): Program for sequential winding tasks.
Use the keypad and function buttons to navigate and input these parameters. Refer to the detailed programming guide (if provided separately) for advanced settings.
Starting and Stopping Operation
- Press the START button or use the foot-switch to begin the winding process.
- Press the STOP button or use the foot-switch to pause or end the winding process.
- In case of an emergency, press the large red Emergency Stop button to immediately halt all machine functions.
Advanced Features
- Synchronous Winding: The controller ensures high precision and smooth winding displacement, even at excessive speeds.
- Self-Inspecting Functions: The machine can detect equipment errors, track excessive speed, and calibrate speed automatically.
- Vernier Caliper Functions: Allows for easy measurement of winding width and starting points.
- Winding Excessive Speed Detecting: Automatically reduces winding speed to a stable state if excessive speed is detected.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your LY 830 Coil Winder.
Cleaning
Keep the machine clean and free from dust and wire debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Lubrication
Periodically lubricate moving parts such as the lead screw and guide rails with a light machine oil to ensure smooth operation. Consult the manufacturer for recommended lubrication points and frequency.
Fuse Replacement
If the machine fails to power on, check the fuse located near the power input. Disconnect the machine from power before inspecting or replacing the fuse. Use only fuses of the specified type and rating.

Regularly inspect all cables, connections, and mechanical components for wear or damage. Tighten any loose fasteners.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your LY 830 Coil Winder.
- Machine does not power on:
- Check if the power cable is securely connected.
- Ensure the power switch is ON.
- Verify the electrical outlet is functional.
- Check and replace the fuse if blown (refer to Maintenance section). - Winding is uneven or inconsistent:
- Ensure the wire is correctly threaded through all guides and tensioners.
- Adjust wire tension. Too much or too little tension can cause issues.
- Verify that the wire gauge parameter is correctly set.
- Check for any obstructions in the wire path or winding mechanism. - Machine stops unexpectedly during operation:
- The machine's self-inspecting function might have detected an error. Check the display for error codes.
- Ensure the wire is not tangled or broken.
- Check for excessive speed detection triggering an automatic slowdown or stop. - Control panel unresponsive:
- Power cycle the machine (turn off, wait 10 seconds, turn on).
- Ensure all connections to the control panel are secure.
If problems persist, contact customer support for assistance.

8. User Tips
- Start with lower speeds: When setting up a new winding program or using a new wire type, begin with lower winding speeds to ensure proper tension and prevent wire breakage.
- Regularly check wire path: Ensure the wire moves freely through all guides and tensioners. Any friction or obstruction can lead to inconsistent winding or wire damage.
- Save your programs: Utilize the 999-step memory capacity to save frequently used winding parameters. This saves time and ensures repeatability for your projects.
- Keep spare parts handy: Having spare fuses and common wear parts (if applicable) can minimize downtime.
9. Warranty and Support
