8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the pump with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the pump in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery life, charge the pump regularly, even if not in frequent use. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
  • Nozzle Inspection: Periodically check the air nozzles and hose for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary to ensure proper sealing and performance.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Pump not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Long press the power button to turn on.
  • Pump not inflating: Check if the air nozzle is securely attached to both the pump and the tire valve. Ensure the target pressure is set above the current tire pressure.
  • Inaccurate pressure reading: Ensure the nozzle is properly sealed to the valve. If issues persist, try recalibrating by fully deflating and then reinflating a known pressure source.
  • Slow inflation: Check for any blockages in the air hose or nozzle. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged.
  • Overheating: The pump has overheating protection and may temporarily shut down. Allow it to cool down before resuming operation.

10. User Tips

  • Pre-ride Check: Always check your tire pressure before each ride for safety and optimal performance.
  • Optimal Pressure: Refer to your tire's sidewall for recommended pressure ranges (usually in PSI or BAR).
  • Memory Function: Take advantage of the memory function by setting your preferred tire pressure once; the pump will recall it for subsequent uses.
  • Versatility: Don't forget to use the needle-shaped nozzle for inflating sports balls, making it a versatile tool for various needs.
  • Emergency Use: Due to its compact size and powerful battery, the E1 TEAM is an excellent tool for on-the-go emergencies.
