4.3 Power Connection

  2. Route the power harness to your vehicle's power source (e.g., fuse box for hardwiring, or cigarette lighter adapter if provided). Ensure the connection is stable and provides 9V-16V.
  3. Conceal the power cable along the vehicle's interior trim for a neat and safe installation.

4.4 Inserting the TF Memory Card

  1. Ensure the dash cam is powered off.
  2. Insert a high-speed TF memory card (4G-128G, Class 10 or higher recommended) into the designated slot on the main unit.
  3. Gently push until it clicks into place.

Important: Format the TF card within the dash cam's settings before first use and periodically thereafter to ensure optimal performance and prevent recording errors.

4.5 Camera Angle Adjustment

5. Operation

5.1 Power On/Off

The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off.

5.2 Recording Modes

  • Continuous Loop Recording: The device continuously records video in short segments. When the memory card is full, it automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked footage.
  • Dual Recording: The dash cam supports simultaneous recording from both the front and rear cameras.
  • Crash Detect and Record (G-sensor): The built-in three-axis stereo crash acceleration sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. In such events, the current video segment is automatically locked and saved to prevent overwriting, serving as crucial accident evidence.
  • Time-lapse Video: This feature allows for extended recording periods by capturing frames at a lower rate, useful for parking surveillance.

5.3 Screen and Display

The 9.35-inch IPS touch screen provides a clear and responsive interface.

  • Full Screen Touch: Slide your finger to the left or right on the screen to switch the display between front view, rear view, and dual view (both cameras displayed simultaneously).
  • Auto Light-sensing: The screen brightness automatically adjusts according to the ambient light conditions for optimal visibility.
  • Low-light Level Night Vision: The cameras are equipped with advanced technology to provide clear video recording even in low-light conditions at night.
  • HLC (Highlight Compensation): This feature helps to reduce glare from bright lights (e.g., headlights) in the recording, improving clarity.

The Sinjet H6 supports Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to connect your smartphone via a dedicated app.

  • Connect to Wi-Fi: Access the Wi-Fi settings on your dash cam and smartphone to establish a connection.
  • App Functionality: Through the mobile app, you can view live footage, browse recorded videos, download clips to your phone, and share them on social media platforms.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the camera lenses. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could scratch the lens.
  • Cleaning the Screen: Use a microfiber cloth to clean the touch screen. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner.
  • TF Card Management: Periodically format the TF card (at least once a month) through the dash cam's settings to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Replace the TF card if you notice frequent errors or reduced performance.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the official Sinjet website or contact customer support for any available firmware updates to ensure your device has the latest features and bug fixes.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Sinjet H6 Dash Cam, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Recording errors or footage not saving:
    • Ensure a high-speed TF card (Class 10 or higher) is inserted correctly.
    • Format the TF card through the dash cam's settings.
    • The TF card may be full; enable loop recording or replace the card.
    • The TF card may be faulty; try a new, reputable brand TF card.

    • Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on both the dash cam and your smartphone.
    • Restart both the dash cam and your smartphone.
    • Ensure you are within close range of the dash cam for a stable connection.
    • Check for any app updates.
  • Screen not responding to touch:

    • Adjust camera angles to avoid direct sunlight or strong reflections.
    • Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lenses.
    • Verify that the dash cam's internal settings for exposure or resolution are correctly configured.

8. User Tips

  • For optimal performance, always use a high-quality, high-speed (Class 10 or U3) TF memory card from a reputable brand.
  • Regularly check the dash cam's field of view to ensure it remains unobstructed and correctly aligned.
