5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Connectivity Issues

  • **Keyboard not responding in wireless mode**: Ensure the mode switch is set correctly (2.4GHz or Bluetooth). Check if the keyboard battery is charged. For 2.4GHz, ensure the dongle is securely plugged in. For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is in pairing mode or connected to the correct profile (FN+Q/W/E).
  • **Intermittent connection**: Try moving the keyboard closer to the receiver/device. Ensure there are no major obstructions or sources of interference (e.g., other wireless devices).

5.2 Keys Not Responding

  • **Single key not working**: Carefully remove the keycap and then the switch using the switch puller. Inspect the switch pins for bends or damage. Reinsert the switch firmly, or try a different switch in that socket to determine if the issue is with the switch or the PCB socket.
  • **Multiple keys not working**: Ensure the keyboard is properly connected in your chosen mode. Try switching to wired mode to rule out wireless issues. If the problem persists, a factory reset might be necessary (refer to VIA software for reset options).

5.3 Backlight Issues

  • **Backlights not turning on**: Ensure backlights are not turned off (FN + Backspace). Check brightness settings via VIA software.
  • **Inconsistent lighting**: This could be due to software settings. Use VIA to reset or reconfigure lighting profiles.

5.4 VIA Software Issues

  • **Keyboard not detected by VIA**: Ensure the keyboard is connected via USB-C cable. Close and reopen the VIA software. Make sure you have the latest version of VIA.
