Maintenance

  • Keep the ball head clean and free from dust, dirt, and moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish.
  • Periodically check all screws and knobs to ensure they are securely tightened. Use the provided hex keys for any adjustments.
  • Store the ball head in a dry, cool place when not in use.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Camera feels unstable or slips.
Solution: Ensure the Quick Lock Knob is fully tightened. Also, check that the QR plate is securely attached to your camera and that the camera's weight does not exceed the ball head's maximum load capacity (10kg/22lb).
Issue: Panoramic rotation is stiff or difficult to adjust.
Solution: Loosen the Panoramic Locking Knob sufficiently. If the issue persists, clean any debris from the rotating mechanism.
Issue: Bubble level does not indicate a level surface.
Solution: Adjust the tripod legs or the ball head's tilt until the bubble is centered. Ensure the ball head is mounted on a stable, flat surface.

User Tips

  • Always double-check all locking mechanisms before leaving your camera unattended on the ball head.
  • When adjusting the ball head, support your camera with one hand until the Quick Lock Knob is fully tightened.
  • For heavy camera setups, ensure the center of gravity is as low as possible to maximize stability.
  • Utilize the 360° rotating scale for precise alignment in panoramic photography.
