6.1 Selecting Welding Mode

Press the "Function Mode Button" on the front panel to cycle through the available welding modes: MIG Gasless, MMA, and Lift TIG. The selected mode will be indicated on the digital display.

6.2 Adjusting Welding Current

Use the "Current Adjust Knob" to set the desired welding current (Amperage) for your specific application. The working current range is 20-130A, suitable for metal plate welding from 0.8mm to 4.0mm.

6.3 MIG Gasless Welding

  • Ensure flux cored wire is correctly installed.
  • Select MIG mode.
  • Adjust current as needed.
  • Begin welding. The machine automatically feeds the wire.

6.4 MMA (Stick) Welding

  • Insert the appropriate welding rod (e.g., 2.5mm 6013 or 7018) into the electrode holder.
  • Select MMA mode.
  • Adjust current based on rod type and material thickness.
  • Strike an arc and begin welding.

6.5 Lift TIG Welding

  • Ensure the TIG torch is connected and a tungsten electrode is installed.
  • Select Lift TIG mode.
  • Adjust current for TIG welding.
  • Initiate the arc by gently touching the tungsten electrode to the workpiece and lifting it slightly.

7. Maintenance

  • Regularly clean the machine's exterior and ventilation openings to prevent dust buildup.
  • Check all cables and connections for wear or damage before each use.
  • Inspect the welding torch, electrode holder, and earth clamp for proper function and replace worn parts as necessary.
  • Store the machine in a dry, clean environment when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Check the power cable connection, wall outlet, and circuit breaker.
  • No Arc: Ensure the earth clamp is securely attached to the workpiece, the welding rod/wire is making contact, and the current setting is appropriate.
  • Poor Weld Quality: Verify correct current and wire feed speed settings for the material and process. Check for proper electrode/wire type and condition.
  • Protective Light On: If the protective light illuminates, the machine may be overheating. Allow it to cool down before resuming operation. Ensure ventilation is not obstructed.
