4.2 Wiring Connections
Connect the DC power lines to the designated input (L+ IN) and output (L- OUT) terminals. Ensure all connections are tight and secure to prevent loose contacts and overheating.
- The housing is made of flame-retardant material.
- Use a closed wrench for terminal connections.

5. Operating Instructions
The DC MCCB functions as an overload and short-circuit protection device. It has a simple ON/OFF operation.
5.1 Switching On/Off
- To switch the circuit breaker ON, push the red lever to the 'ON' position.
- To switch the circuit breaker OFF, push the red lever to the 'OFF' position.
5.2 Test Button
A test button is provided to verify the tripping mechanism. Press the test button when the power is ON. If the breaker trips, it indicates normal operation of the tripping mechanism.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and reliable operation of your DC MCCB.
- Visual Inspection: Periodically inspect the circuit breaker for any signs of physical damage, discoloration, or loose connections.
- Cleaning: Keep the circuit breaker clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry, non-abrasive cloth for cleaning.
- Terminal Check: Ensure all terminal connections remain tight. Loose connections can lead to overheating and potential failure.
- Function Test: Perform the test button operation periodically to ensure the tripping mechanism is functional.
Do not attempt to repair or modify the circuit breaker yourself. Contact a qualified electrician for any issues beyond routine inspection and cleaning.
7. Troubleshooting
If the circuit breaker trips frequently or fails to operate correctly, consider the following troubleshooting steps:
- Frequent Tripping: This often indicates an overload or a short circuit in the protected DC system.
- Check the connected load to ensure it does not exceed the circuit breaker's rated current.
- Inspect the wiring for any signs of short circuits (e.g., damaged insulation, exposed wires touching).
- If the issue persists, consult a qualified electrician to diagnose the electrical system.
- Failure to Trip: If a fault occurs and the breaker does not trip, it may be faulty.
- Immediately disconnect power to the affected circuit.
- Do not attempt to force the breaker ON.
- Replace the faulty circuit breaker with a new one of the correct rating.
- Overheating: If the circuit breaker feels excessively hot to the touch, it could indicate an overload or loose connections.
- Reduce the load on the circuit.
- Check and tighten all terminal connections.
8. User Tips
- Accessory Compatibility: This DC MCCB model does not typically include tripping coils or shunt coils as standard accessories. If such functionality is required, ensure to select a model specifically designed for these accessories or consult with the manufacturer for compatible options.
- Proper Sizing: Always ensure the circuit breaker's rated current and voltage match the requirements of your DC system to provide effective protection.
