4. Setup

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed and clean all removable parts according to the 'Cleaning and Maintenance' section.

  1. Add Water to the Tank: Open the water reservoir cap and add fresh, cold water to the water tank. Do not overfill. Ensure the cap is securely closed.

5. Operating Instructions

Making Espresso:

  1. Ensure the machine is plugged in and the water tank is filled.
  2. Prepare the portafilter with coffee grounds and attach it securely (refer to Setup Steps 2 & 3).
  3. Place the glass carafe or your espresso cup under the portafilter spout.
  4. Turn the control knob to the 'Espresso' setting. The machine will begin brewing.
  5. Once the desired amount of espresso is brewed, turn the control knob back to the 'OFF' position.

Frothing Milk:

  1. Fill a pitcher with cold milk (do not fill more than halfway).
  2. Submerge the steam wand into the milk.
  3. Turn the control knob to the 'Steam' setting.
  4. Move the pitcher up and down slowly to create foam. Be careful as the steam wand will be hot.
  5. Once desired foam consistency is achieved, turn the control knob back to 'OFF'.
  6. Wipe the steam wand immediately after use to prevent milk residue buildup.
