Important Safety Information
Warning:
- If an accident occurs, turn off the dash cam and remove the microSD card in a timely manner to prevent the recorded video files from being overwritten.
- Before inserting the microSD card into the dash cam, refer to the "Memory Card" section.
- Do not insert or remove the microSD card while the dash cam is on. Doing so may damage your dash cam or microSD card.
- This manual is applicable to 70mai Dash Cam model: A810S-2.
Read this manual carefully before use. Keep it for future reference.
This dash cam is an image and video recording device; it DOES NOT enhance driving safety. Videos recorded are for reference only.
DO follow all applicable local traffic rules and regulations. In particular, DO NOT operate this cam while the vehicle is mobile.
Installation/Wiring Safety
- ONLY install the cam as instructed. To avoid possible property damage or personal injuries, be careful not to position it as to block the driver's view or be in the way of the air bag.
- To avoid product malfunctions caused by unqualified products, ONLY use the supplied accessories such as the car charger and power cord. 70mai is not liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of a non-original car charger or power cord.
Operation Safety
- Do not operate this product, stare at the screen to operate the app, or engage in other legally prohibited operations while driving. Make sure to park in a safe location before proceeding with the operation.
- Due to differences in vehicle conditions, driving styles, road conditions, and other factors, some functions of the cam may not work properly. Power failure, use in environments outside the normal operating temperature or humidity range, collision, or damaged memory card may cause the dash cam to function abnormally. There is no guarantee that this dash cam will function normally under all circumstances.
General Safety Precautions
- Note that colored windshield films may affect the imaging quality of the cam.
- Do not disassemble, repair, or modify this product and its accessories. Doing so may cause accidents, fires, electric shock, and malfunctions.
- Do not block the vents of this product. Internally generated heat, if not dissipated timely, may lead to fire or malfunction.
- Handle the cam with care; do not drop it or subject it to sudden movement. Keep the dash cam away from any strong magnetic fields.
- Do not use chemical solvents or cleaning agents to clean this product.
- After the product works for a period of time, its shell will become hot. Be careful when handling it.
- This product is not a toy. Its small components may cause suffocation or other injuries. Thus, keep the product out of the reach of children.
- Use this dash cam at a temperature between -10°C and 60°C.
- ONLY use this cam following all local codes and regulations concerning the lawful use of video recording and imaging devices.
Electric Safety
- ONLY use adapters that comply with the input power of the cam.
- Do not disassemble, impact, or squeeze the product, or throw it into fire. Doing so may cause an explosion.
- Do not dispose of the cam in household waste.
- Comply with applicable national regulations for safe disposal of used electronics.
Battery Safety
- This device contains a coin battery. DO NOT disassemble, smash the product or subject it to excessive heat, as this could result in explosion.
- The battery is non-removable. DO NOT attempt to replace or repair it. If replacement is required, ONLY have it replaced by a professional with the same model.
- When the battery is removed, keep it out of the reach of children. The battery, if ingested, can cause death or serious injuries. If swallowed, it can cause internal chemical burns in as little as 2 hours. Seek immediate medical attention if the battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.
- Do not use the product in extreme weathers. Temperatures that are too low or too high may cause the battery to explode or give off flammable gas or liquid.
- Dispose of the cam following all local and national regulations on electronic waste disposal.
- This device is not a toy. Some of its small components may pose risk of suffocation to children. Keep it out of the reach of children.

Setup
Memory Card
This dash cam supports standard microSD cards. Please use a microSD card with a capacity of 32 GB to 512 GB at a read/write speed of U3 (UHS-3) or higher.
- Before use, insert the microSD card into the dash cam.
- Some cards may have a different partition format than supported by the cam. For best results, insert the card and format it before using the cam. Note that this will delete all the files stored in the card. Make sure you have a backup.
- Memory cards often deteriorate in performance after repeated cycles of overwriting, and this will affect the ability to save video and image files. If this occurs, immediately replace it.
- ONLY use quality memory cards from known brands. Inferior memory cards may read and write much slower than they are advertised and they often prove to have much less capacity than stated. Any damage to the cam caused by the use of an inferior card is seen on the user's part.
- Do not insert or remove the microSD card while the dash cam is on. Doing so may damage your dash cam or microSD card.
Initial Check and Setup
Do perform the initial check and setup before installing the cam (language settings, date and time settings, etc.).
- Park the car in a safe and flat area, apply the parking brake, and turn off the engine.
- Connect the supplied power cord to the power port, and connect the dash cam to the cigarette lighter socket of the car.
- Insert the microSD card into the dash cam.
- Start the car. The dash cam automatically turns on and displays the initial settings (language settings) screen.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the initial setup. During initial setup, the following items will be set or displayed: Startup screen, System time, Parking Security (requires 70mai Hardwire Kit), and 70mai app download. You can also perform initial setup later.
- After initial setup, the dash cam displays the normal recording screen. Notes: If the icon REC is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen and the (red dot icon) is flashing, the cam is up and running.
Installing the Dash Cam
- Clean the installation surface of the front windshield, and attach the supplied electrostatic sticker to the installation position of the dash cam.
- Install the supplied mount on the dash cam.
- Peel off the release liner from the double-sided tape on the mount, and then stick the dash cam onto the electrostatic sticker on the front windshield.
- Press the dash cam against the attached electrostatic sticker to secure the dash cam. Note: The adhesion takes some time to stabilize. Therefore, keep it still for a while.

Installing the Rear Camera
- Clean the installation surface of the rear windshield, and attach the supplied electrostatic sticker of the rear camera to the installation position of the rear camera.
- Remove the release liner of the double-sided tape on the rear camera, and stick the rear camera onto the electrostatic sticker on the rear windshield.

Connecting the Front Camera
- Connect the supplied Type-C connector of the power cord to the power port of the dash cam, and connect the other end to the car charger.
- Use the supplied wiring trim tool to hide the power cord underneath the car roof lining and A pillar rubber sealing strip.
Connecting the Rear Camera
- Connect the supplied rear camera signal cable to the rear camera cable.
- Use the supplied wiring trim tool to hide the rear camera signal cable under the rubber sealing strip on the top of the rear windshield, C pillar (or D pillar), and top of a side window, and connect the signal cable to the dash cam.
- Connect the supplied rear camera signal cable to the rear camera port on the dash cam.
Adjusting the Camera Angle
- Turn on the engine of the car. The dash cam automatically turns on and starts continuous recording.
- Adjust the front camera angle while checking the camera view on the dash cam.
- Press the function button under the icon on the dash cam to switch to the view of the rear camera.
- Adjust the camera angle while checking the view of the rear camera on the dash cam.
70mai App Installation
Install the 70mai app on your smartphone. By connecting the dash cam to your smartphone through the built-in Wi-Fi, you can view real-time videos, download recorded videos, and configure various settings of the dash cam.
Use your smartphone to scan the QR code or search for the "70mai" app in the App Store (iOS) or Google Store (Android) to download and install the 70mai app.
To connect your smartphone to the Wi-Fi hotspot of the dash cam, you need a smartphone running Android 5.0 or iOS 11.0 or a later version.
Adding Dash Cam to 70mai App
- Start the 70mai app on your smartphone.
- Tap Sign up, enter your email address, enter the 6-digit confirmation code sent to you via email, and then enter the login password (6 or more alphanumeric characters) as desired. Read and agree to the privacy policy, and tap Submit.
- In the interface that opens up, tap Dash Cam with screen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the cam Wi-Fi hotspot.
- When connected, return to the App and press the function button (rightmost) under the checkmark icon on the dash cam screen within 30 seconds to complete the dash cam authentication. The dash cam A810S-2 is added to the 70mai app.
Connecting the Dash Cam to 70mai App
- Turn on the dash cam.
- Start the 70mai app and tap Connect to the dash cam directly.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect to the dash cam.
- After the connection, return to the 70mai app. The main screen of the dash cam (real-time continuous recording screen) is displayed.
Device Settings (via App)
Configure the settings as needed using the steps below. For more instructions on more settings, see page 41 of the original manual.
- Start the 70mai app and tap Settings in the lower left corner.
- In the interface that opens up, tap and configure settings. Note: The settings should be consistently configured with those on the dash cam.
Operating the Dash Cam
Powering On
The dash cam can be powered on in any of the following ways:
- Connect the dash cam to the cigarette lighter in your car. When the car starts and the cigarette lighter receives power from the car, the dash cam turns on automatically.
- Connect the dash cam to an external power supply and power it off manually. Then, press the power button to power it on.
- Connect the 70mai Hardwire Kit to the dash cam. While your car is starting, the dash cam turns on automatically upon detection of the ACC ON signal over the Hardwire Kit.
- Connect the 70mai Hardwire Kit to the dash cam and enable collision detection. When your car experiences shocks in the parking spot, the dash cam turns on to record a Parking Security video.
Powering Off
When the recording ends, the dash cam turns off.
- If the dash cam is not needed, hold down the power button until the screen turns off or unplug the power cord from the socket of cigarette lighter to power off the dash cam.
- With the 70mai Hardwire Kit connected, the dash cam turns off automatically when it detects an ACC OFF signal.
- The cigarette lighter of your car model may remain on after the engine is turned off. In this case, the dash cam is still powered. If you have set the timer for auto power off with continuous inactivity, the dash cam turns off automatically when the timer expires.
- After the dash cam is connected to the cigarette lighter, it turns off automatically when the car engine is turned off and stops supplying power to the cigarette lighter port.
- The running dash cam turns off automatically when its memory card is removed.
- The dash cam turns off automatically when the ambient environment exceeds its operating temperature.
Taking Photos
You can take photos by tapping the camera icon in the 70mai app or say the voice command "Take photo". For more voice commands, see the Voice Control section.
Recording Emergency Videos
When recording emergency videos is needed, this can happen automatically or manually.
To manually record an emergency video:
- With the cam up and running, press the function button under the play icon and the cam immediately starts recording. Note: Alternatively, you can activate emergency recording by simply saying "Record video".
- The clip will cover the moment from the pressing to 30 seconds later and will be saved under Emergency video file.
To use the automatic emergency video recording:
- Press the function button under the settings icon.
- Use the function buttons in the middle to locate Smart travel.
- Press the function button under the checkmark icon to enter Smart travel.
- Press the function button under the checkmark icon to enter Emergency video.
- With Emergency video selected, press the function button under the checkmark icon to toggle on the emergency video function. Now the cam can automatically record emergency videos.
Viewing Videos/Photos in the App Album
- In the app, tap the album icon, the dash cam stops recording and displays the album.
- Tap Categories or Timeline.
The Categories column displays folders by video type. Tap the folder of a specific video type, and then tap the thumbnail of the target video to play back the video.
The All videos folder contains normal video files, emergency video files, parking surveillance video files, time-lapse video files, and photos recorded by the front and rear cameras.
In the Timeline column, you can slide on the timeline bar to select a video clip. The system then plays back the video recorded in the specified period on the specified day. Video types are distinguished by the color of the timeline bar.
Downloading Videos/Photos
You can download the video/photo file that is being played back to your smartphone. During playback, tap Download or Download video.
The downloaded videos and photos can be viewed in the album of your smartphone or local album of the 70mai app. To play back videos or photos in the local album of the 70mai app, start the app, tap the album icon in the upper left corner, tap Local album, and select the video or photo that you want to view. During playback on the Timeline screen, you can tap Download and select the duration of the video clip that you want to download.
Note: Videos recorded by the front and rear cameras cannot be downloaded together. Download them separately.
Deleting Videos/Photos
While viewing a video or photo, you can tap Delete to remove the current video or photo from the album.
Note: Videos being played back on the Timeline screen cannot be deleted.
Sharing Videos/Photos
Downloaded video and photo files will be saved in your phone album and the local album of the 70mai app. You can share the downloaded files on social media.
- Start 70mai app, and tap the profile icon in the upper left corner.
- Tap Local Album.
- Select a video or photo and tap Share.
- Select the social media where you want to share.
Viewing the Driving Route
If you synchronize driving route data to the 70mai app, you can view your driving route in the app.
- Driving route data is generated after you drive over a certain distance.
- To synchronize driving route data, refer to Device Data Settings.
- Start the 70mai app, and tap the profile icon in the upper left corner.
- Tap Driving route.
- Select the driving route record that you want to view.
Voice Control
The cam supports voice control. When the dash cam is operating, voice commands from the user will trigger the corresponding functions.
Supported languages are English and Mandarin (when the dash cam's system language is Traditional Chinese). The voice commands are as follows:

Notes:
- Voice control is not available during beginner's tutorial, while memory card is being formatted, and while the cam is running in parking surveillance mode.
- When the dash cam is connected with the 70mai app, voice control is not supported.

ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems)
The ADAS is designed to assist the driver with safe driving. This function enables the dash cam to obtain information about surroundings and alert you to the dangers detected.
Cautions:
- To enable ADAS, see Smart travel.
- The ADAS cannot assist with your driving behavior if you do not observe the road ahead or the visibility is low. When driving your car, pay attention to the surroundings and driving environment, and always drive safely.
- If Speaker volume is turned off, the dash cam does not generate audio alarms.
Front Vehicle Start Alert
If you are waiting at traffic lights and your car remains still after the traffic lights turn green and the vehicle ahead starts to move, you will receive a voice alert.
Lane Departure Alert
If your car is deviating from the lane, you will receive a voice alert.
Man Collision Alert
If pedestrians are identified on the lane where your car is running, you will receive a voice alert.
Rider Collision Alert
If two-wheeler riders or two-wheelers are identified on the lane where your car is running, you will receive a voice alert.
Road Story Filter (RS Filter)
The dash cam records driving data and road condition data as well. Such data will be displayed together with the video during playback. The road story (RS) filter can merge the data and display video clips with stunning visual effects.
To use the RS filter, tap RS during playback.
Device Settings (via Dash Cam)
From the cam main interface, press the function button under the settings icon to access the Settings screen. You can change various settings of the dash cam.
Video Setting
From the cam main interface, press the function button under the settings icon. Use the function buttons in the middle to locate Video settings. Press the function button under the checkmark icon to enter Video settings. Use the function button under the checkmark icon to enter the submenu whose value you want to change. Use the function button under the checkmark icon and the function buttons in the middle to change.
Parking Surveillance
The parking surveillance feature is ONLY available with a 70mai parking surveillance cable installed.
From the cam main interface, press the function button under the settings icon. Use the function buttons in the middle to locate Parking surveillance. Press the function button under the checkmark icon to enter Parking surveillance. Use the function button under the checkmark icon to enter the submenu whose value you want to change. Use the function button under the checkmark icon and the function buttons in the middle to change.
Smart Travel
From the cam main interface, press the function button under the settings icon. Use the function buttons in the middle to locate Smart travel. Press the function button under the checkmark icon to enter Smart travel. Use the function button under the checkmark icon to enter the submenu whose value you want to change.
Sound Settings
From the cam main interface, press the function button under the settings icon. Use the function buttons in the middle to locate Sound settings. Press the function button under the checkmark icon to enter Sound settings. Use the function button under the checkmark icon to enter the submenu whose value you want to change. Use the function button under the checkmark icon and the function buttons in the middle to change.
System Settings
From the cam main interface, press the function button under the settings icon. Use the function buttons in the middle to locate System settings. Press the function button under the checkmark icon to enter System settings. Use the function button under the checkmark icon to enter the submenu whose value you want to change. Use the function button under the checkmark icon and the function buttons in the middle to change.
Device Data Settings
In the app, tap Settings and then Device data to check or change the device data settings.
Maintenance
Updating the 70mai App
If an update is available for the 70mai app, an update message will be displayed when you start the 70mai app. Update the app as prompted.
Updating the Dash Cam Firmware
You can update the dash cam firmware on the 70mai app.
- Start the 70mai app and tap the menu icon in the upper right corner.
- A small red dot next to Firmware update tells you that a firmware update is available. Tap the update icon to open the download page.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to download the new firmware. A message will pop up after the download process is completed. Note: Make sure your smartphone is connected to the Internet when downloading.
- Tap Push now and follow the instructions on the screen to perform the update. After the update is completed, your dash cam will automatically restart and run on the latest firmware.
Backing up Videos/Photos to Your Computer
To back up videos/photos to your computer, insert the microSD card into your computer or directly connect the dash cam to the computer with a USB cable. You can also use the 70mai app to download videos/photos to your smartphone.
Backing up to a Computer from a MicroSD Card
- Power off the dash cam.
- Press the microSD card and remove it from the dash cam.
- Insert the microSD card into an SD card reader and connect to the computer.
- Back up the files/folders displayed on the computer to the hard drive. The videos/photos will be displayed and categorized on the computer as follows: Normal: Normal videos; Event: Emergency video; Parking: Parking surveillance video; Lapse: Time-lapse video; Photo: Photos.
Backing up the Dash Cam to a Computer
- Power off the dash cam and unplug the power cord and rear camera cable.
- Slide the dash cam off of its mount. Note: Be careful to not to remove the mount.
- Connect one end of the USB cable to the power port of the dash cam and the other end to the computer.
- Back up the files/folders displayed on the computer to the hard drive.
Reset Device
In the app, tap Settings and then Reset device to format the memory card or reset the dash cam.

- Live Streaming: The dash cam supports live streaming via the 70mai app when the 4G Module UP04 is installed. This feature can be managed through the app settings.
