2. Speed Sensor Installation
The speed sensor is a magnetic type. Install it securely near a rotating part of your wheel (e.g., brake disc) so that the magnet passes close to the sensor with each rotation. Ensure the sensor is firmly mounted and the cable is routed safely away from moving parts and heat sources.

3. Mounting the Instrument
Use the provided mounting bracket to secure the instrument to your motorcycle's handlebars or dashboard. Ensure it is positioned for clear visibility and does not obstruct your view or controls.
Operating Instructions
The instrument features a button at the bottom of the meter for settings and adjustments.
Key Setting Function:
- Total Mileage / Subtotal Switching: Short press the button to switch between total and subtotal mileage. To clear the subtotal mileage, long press the button while in the subtotal interface.
- Metric Switch: Press the button on the ODO display to switch metric units.
- Parameter Setting: Press and hold the button to power up the instrument. This will enter the setting interface, displaying "CCC". Input "123" to enter the function setting interface.
- Navigation in Settings: Long press the button to move to the next setting position. Short press the button to change the value of the current setting.
- Speed Cylinder Number Adjustment: After entering the password, you can adjust the speed cylinder number (e.g., "Y2 2" indicates 2 cylinders, 16.6Hz).
- Gear Position Display: Set to "1" for a two-line oil level sensor or "5" for a three-line oil level sensor.

- Saving Settings: After completing all adjustments, press the button to save and exit the settings. The instrument will restart with the new configuration.
Maintenance
The MAIMEIMI motorcycle meter is designed for durability and is sealed to be waterproof. To ensure its longevity and optimal performance:
- Regularly clean the display with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure all wiring connections remain secure and free from corrosion.
- Periodically check the speed sensor and magnet for proper alignment and cleanliness.
- Avoid exposing the instrument to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods.

Troubleshooting
- No Power/Display: Check all power connections (Red, Black, Green wires) for proper voltage and secure connections. Ensure the battery is charged.
- Incorrect Speed Reading: Verify the speed sensor is correctly installed and aligned with the magnet. Check the speed cylinder number adjustment in the settings.
- Incorrect RPM Reading: Ensure the tachometer signal wire is correctly connected.
- Gear Indicator Malfunction: Check the wiring for all gear position wires. Ensure the gear position display setting (1 or 5) is correct for your oil level sensor type.
- Fuel Indicator Issues: Verify the White wire connection to the fuel sensor. Ensure the fuel sensor is functioning correctly.
- Alarms (Low Oil/Voltage): Check your motorcycle's oil level and battery voltage. If these are normal, inspect the corresponding sensor connections.
User Tips
- For optimal visibility, adjust the mounting angle to minimize glare during different times of day.
- Regularly check and clean the speed sensor and magnet to prevent debris from affecting accuracy.
- Familiarize yourself with the button functions for quick adjustments while riding.
