4. Installation Guide
Follow these steps to properly install your GOBOOST Cellular Amplifier:
4.1. Unboxing and Initial Setup
Video 1: Unboxing and Basic Connection Demonstration
4.2. Step-by-Step Installation
- Step 1: Position the Outdoor Antenna
Search for a location where you can receive a strong and stable signal (stronger than -70dB). Install the outdoor Yagi antenna at this location, pointing it towards the nearest base station or cell tower. Ensure it is securely mounted.
Figure 7: Outdoor Antenna Placement and Distance Recommendation - Step 2: Connect Outdoor Antenna to Booster
Use the provided 10-meter coaxial cable to connect the outdoor antenna to the 'BTS' port on the signal booster. Ensure the connectors are tightened securely to prevent signal loss.

After all connections are made and checked for tightness, connect the power supply to the booster unit and plug it into an electrical outlet. The LCD display on the booster should light up.
4.3. Important Installation Notes:
- The outdoor and indoor antennas must be separated by a brick wall.
- Maintain a minimum distance of at least 10 meters (vertical) or 15 meters (horizontal) between the outdoor and indoor antennas to prevent self-oscillation and ensure optimal performance.

5. Working Principle
The GOBOOST Cellular Amplifier operates on a simple yet effective principle to enhance your mobile signal:
- Receives Signal: The powerful outdoor antenna captures weak cellular signals from the nearest base station or cell tower.
- Boosts Signal: The signal booster unit receives this weak signal, amplifies it significantly, and acts as a relay between your mobile phone and the cell tower.
- Broadcasts Signal: The amplified signal is then transmitted by the indoor antenna, providing improved cellular reception to your devices. Simultaneously, your phone's outgoing signals are captured by the indoor antenna, amplified by the booster, and sent back to the network via the outdoor antenna.

6. Operating Instructions
Once installed and powered on, the GOBOOST Cellular Amplifier operates automatically. The LCD display on the booster unit provides real-time information about the signal status, allowing you to monitor its performance.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your GOBOOST Cellular Amplifier, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Problem: No signal on the display and phone.
Solution: Adjust the outdoor antenna. Place it at a higher position and ensure it receives a good signal from the base station. Also, verify that the frequency of your booster matches your operator's frequency band. - Problem: The display is blinking and the signal light isn't on.
Solution: This indicates an unstable incoming signal. Adjust the position and direction of the outdoor antenna until the blinking stops and the signal becomes stable. - Problem: The signal is at maximum on the booster, but the phone signal does not improve.
Solution: This is often due to a 'self-oscillation phenomenon'. You need to increase the physical distance between the indoor and outdoor antennas. Ensure they are separated by a solid brick wall and maintain at least 10 meters (vertical) or 15 meters (horizontal) distance. Make sure there are no openings or direct line of sight between them. - Problem: The booster works properly, but the signal light is not on.
Solution: Check the coaxial cable length and connections. Ensure all antenna connections are tight and secure. While the signal light provides status, if the device is working effectively, this might not be a critical issue.

8. User Tips
- Frequency Check: Always verify your mobile operator's frequency bands before purchasing and installing the booster to ensure compatibility.
- Antenna Placement is Key: The performance of your booster heavily relies on the optimal placement of the outdoor antenna. Experiment with different heights and directions to find the strongest signal.
- Maintain Separation: Strict adherence to the recommended separation distance and physical barrier (brick wall) between indoor and outdoor antennas is crucial to prevent interference and maximize signal amplification.
9. Safety Information
The GOBOOST Cellular Amplifier is designed with user safety in mind. It adheres to international communication equipment production standards and is certified with CE, FCC, and RoHS, ensuring low radiation and safe operation.
