4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation and Charging

Insert the provided 2500mAh battery into the back compartment of the walkie talkie. Ensure it clicks securely into place. The battery can be fully charged in approximately 3 hours.

The TD H3 supports convenient Type-C charging. You can charge the device using a standard Type-C cable connected to a desktop charger, car charger, or power bank.

4.2 Power On/Off and Band Selection

To power on the device and select the desired band version (HAM, GMRS, or NORMAL), press and hold the * key and the PTT key simultaneously.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Wireless Programming via Phone App (Odmaster)

The TIDRADIO TD H3 supports wireless programming through the "Odmaster" mobile application, allowing you to customize your radio settings anytime, anywhere.

  1. Step 1: Open the Odmaster APP.
  2. Step 2: Connect the radio via Bluetooth (BL).
  3. Step 3: Program the radio.

5.2 Wired Programming via USB Type-C

The TD H3 can also be programmed by connecting it to a computer using a standard USB Type-C cable. This eliminates the need for a specialized programming cable.

5.3 Fast Copy One Channel (Frequency Meter Function)

The TD H3 can act as a frequency meter for other two-way radios and devices. To activate this function, hold down the "1" key to initiate frequency copy mode.

5.5 AM/FM Aviation Band Receiving
