Maintenance
- Weather Resistance: The cameras feature IP66 weatherproof metal housing, ensuring reliable operation in various weather conditions, suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.
- Operating Temperature: Ensure the cameras and NVR operate within their specified temperature ranges:
- NVR: 14 °F ~ 131 °F (-10 °C ~ 55 °C)
- Camera: -4 °F ~ 140 °F (-20 °C ~ 60 °C)
- Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean camera lenses to ensure clear image quality. Use a soft, damp cloth.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Hard Drive Management: If using local HDD storage, regularly back up important footage and ensure sufficient space is available. The NVR supports up to 10TB capacity.
Troubleshooting
No Video/Image on Monitor
- Check all power connections for the NVR and monitor.
- Ensure the HDMI/VGA cable is securely connected to both the NVR and the monitor.
- Verify the correct input source is selected on your monitor/TV.
Cameras Not Connecting to NVR
- Ensure all cameras are powered on and within range of the NVR or another connected camera (for cascading).
- Check for physical obstructions (thick walls, metal) that might interfere with the Wi-Fi signal.
- Restart both the NVR and the cameras.
- If issues persist, you may need to manually pair cameras to the NVR (refer to the full user manual for detailed pairing instructions).
Poor Wi-Fi Signal/Intermittent Connection
- Relocate cameras or the NVR to improve signal strength.
- Utilize the auto cascading feature by placing cameras strategically to relay signals.
- Consider using the Ethernet port on cameras for a wired connection if wireless is consistently unreliable in a specific location.
Motion Detection Not Working Accurately
- Adjust the sensitivity settings in the mobile app or NVR interface.
- Refine the customized detection zones to exclude areas with constant, irrelevant motion (e.g., swaying trees, busy roads).
- Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions.
