  • When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

To remove a bit:

  1. Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws.

  • To rotate forward (clockwise), press the switch to the right.
  • To rotate in reverse (counter-clockwise), press the switch to the left.
  • To lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting, push the switch to the center position. The drill will not operate when the switch is in the locked position.

4.3. Impacting Techniques (for Impact Mode)

When using the impact mode for screwdriving, the duration of impacting directly affects the tightness of the fastener. Practice with various fasteners to determine the optimal impacting time for desired tightness. Be particularly careful with smaller fasteners, as they require less impacting to reach optimum torque.

Factors like oil, dirt, rust, or other matter on threads can affect tightness. The torque required to loosen a fastener is typically 75% to 80% of the tightening torque.

4.4. Depth Gauge (if included)

If your model includes a depth gauge, loosen the support handle, adjust the depth gauge to your desired drilling depth, and then tighten the support handle to fix the depth gauge in place.
