7.2. Anti-Tamper Feature

The alarm panel is equipped with anti-tamper settings. If the unit is forcibly dismantled or tampered with, the system will immediately send notifications to users, ensuring you are aware of any unauthorized interference.

8. Troubleshooting

  • No 4G Signal: Ensure your SIM card is correctly inserted and activated. Check if your region's 4G network is compatible with the alarm's frequencies (B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20 900/1800MHz). Contact your mobile carrier for network coverage issues.
  • WIFI Connection Failure: Verify your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz (5GHz is generally not supported). Ensure the alarm panel is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Double-check your Wi-Fi password during setup. Try resetting the Wi-Fi settings on the alarm panel and re-attempting the connection via the Tuya Smart App.
  • Sensors Not Triggering Alarm: Ensure sensors are properly paired with the main unit. Check sensor battery levels. Verify correct installation and alignment (for door/window sensors). Test each sensor individually to confirm functionality.
  • No App Notifications: Check your smartphone's notification settings for the Tuya Smart App to ensure notifications are enabled. Verify the alarm panel has a stable internet connection (WIFI or 4G).
  • Cannot Find Tuya Smart App: Search for 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' in your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).

9. User Tips

  • Test Regularly: Periodically test your alarm system and all connected sensors to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Secure SIM Card: Ensure your 4G SIM card has an active plan with sufficient credit or data for SMS and calls.
  • App Familiarization: Spend time exploring the Tuya Smart App to understand all its features and settings for remote control and monitoring.
  • Placement of Sensors: For PIR sensors, consider placing them in areas where intruders are likely to cross, avoiding areas with pets if using a standard PIR, or using the pet-friendly version.
  • Network Compatibility: Before purchasing, verify that the 4G frequencies of the alarm system (B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20 900/1800MHz) are compatible with your local network provider (e.g., Spark 4G in New Zealand).

10. Warranty and Support
