2. Setup Guide
Connect the Mouse
Connect the USB cable of the DAREU A980 gaming mouse to an available USB port on your PC or laptop. The mouse is a wired device and does not support Bluetooth connectivity.
Driver Installation

Tips for TFT Screen Control:
- Press FN + "FN" + "Up or down scroll" to change the mode of the function.
- Press FN + Scroll wheel to confirm the mode you want to use.
3.5 Response Rate
The DAREU A980 supports an 8K Hz response rate, significantly increasing transmission speed for smoother and more precise mouse movement.

3.6 KBS2.0 Key Technology
The mouse incorporates KBS2.0 Key Technology, which adds a POM shaft device and a floating device to the buttons. This design solves the problem of mouse button idling and provides a smaller trigger force, ensuring a consistently clicky feel.

4. Maintenance
Cleaning

Mouse Not Responding

High CPU Load with 8KHz Response Rate
A higher response rate (like 8KHz) can increase CPU load. If your computer has 8 cores or higher, enabling the 8KHz option is recommended. For computers with fewer cores (e.g., 4-core), a high response rate can increase CPU usage by at least 20% during rapid mouse movement. Consider lowering the response rate if you experience performance issues on less powerful systems.
RGB Lighting Not Working
Check the light adjust button on the bottom of the mouse. Ensure the driver software is correctly installed and configured for RGB effects.
