4. Setup and Installation

These tires are designed for 1.9-inch RC wheels (not included). Proper installation is crucial for performance and safety.

4.1 Required Tools (Not Included)

  • 1.9-inch RC Wheel Rims (Beadlock or Glued)
  • Tire Foam Inserts (if desired, for tuning performance)
  • Wheel Nut Wrench (appropriate size for your RC vehicle)
  • Tire Glue (for non-beadlock wheels)

4.2 Installation Steps

  1. Prepare Wheels: Ensure your 1.9-inch RC wheels are clean and free of debris.
  2. Insert Foams (Optional): If using tire foam inserts, carefully place them inside the tires. Foams help maintain tire shape and can affect performance.
  3. Mount Tires to Wheels:
    • For Beadlock Wheels: Disassemble the beadlock rings from your wheels. Carefully seat one side of the tire bead into the wheel channel. Place the foam insert (if used). Seat the other side of the tire bead into the wheel channel. Reassemble the beadlock rings, ensuring the tire beads are securely clamped. Tighten screws evenly in a star pattern to prevent warping.
    • For Glued Wheels: Apply a thin, even bead of tire glue (CA glue recommended) to the wheel's bead seating surface. Carefully stretch the tire over the wheel, ensuring the bead seats properly in the channel. Hold firmly until the glue sets. Repeat for the other side. Allow ample drying time before use.
  4. Attach to Vehicle: Mount the assembled wheel and tire onto your RC vehicle's axles using the appropriate wheel nuts. Ensure wheel nuts are tightened securely but do not overtighten.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed, your INJORA all-terrain tires are ready for use on your 1:10 RC rock crawler. These tires are designed for various off-road conditions.

5.1 General Usage

  • Terrain: These tires excel on mud, dirt, rocks, and other challenging surfaces due to their aggressive tread pattern and soft rubber compound.
  • Driving Style: Experiment with different throttle inputs and steering angles to find the optimal grip for specific obstacles. The soft compound allows the tire to conform to irregular surfaces.
  • Break-in Period: New tires may require a short break-in period to achieve their full grip potential.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life and performance of your tires.

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially in muddy or dusty conditions, clean the tires with water and a soft brush to remove dirt and debris from the treads. Avoid harsh chemicals that could degrade the rubber.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect tires for cuts, tears, or excessive wear. Check beadlock rings (if applicable) for tightness.
  • Storage: Store tires in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Prolonged exposure to UV light can cause rubber to harden and crack.
  • Rotation: Consider rotating your tires periodically to ensure even wear, especially if you notice uneven wear patterns.

7. Troubleshooting

Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Poor GripTires are dirty; Worn tread; Incorrect foam inserts; Surface conditionsClean tires thoroughly; Replace worn tires; Experiment with different foam densities; Adjust driving style for terrain
Tire comes off wheelImproper beadlock installation; Insufficient glue (for glued wheels); Damaged wheel beadRe-install beadlock rings, ensuring beads are seated and screws are tight; Re-glue tire to wheel; Inspect wheel for damage and replace if necessary
Uneven Tire WearAggressive driving style; Uneven weight distribution; Suspension issuesModerate driving; Check vehicle balance; Inspect suspension components; Rotate tires

8. User Tips

  • Foam Tuning: Experimenting with different tire foam inserts can significantly alter the tire's performance and feel on various surfaces. Softer foams generally provide more grip on uneven terrain, while firmer foams offer more stability.
  • Tire Break-in: Allow a few runs for the tires to fully break in. The rubber compound often performs best after a short period of use.
  • Surface Adaptation: The aggressive tread pattern is versatile, but understanding how your RC crawler reacts with these tires on different surfaces (e.g., wet rocks vs. dry sand) will improve your driving experience.

9. Safety Information

  • This product is intended for users aged 14 years and older. Adult supervision is recommended for younger users.
  • Always operate RC vehicles in a safe environment, away from people, pets, and obstacles.
