Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Baseus Digital Alcohol Tester. This device is designed to provide a quick and convenient way to estimate your blood alcohol content (BAC) using a non-contact breath test. Please read this manual carefully before using the device to ensure proper operation and to maintain its accuracy and longevity.
Product Overview
The Baseus Digital Alcohol Tester features a high-sensitive sensor and smart chip for accurate testing, a high-contrast LED display for clear readings, and a compact, portable design. It utilizes a scientific filter to ensure only alcohol is measured, avoiding interference from other substances.

Setup
- Initial Charging: Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided Type-C charging cable. A full charge takes approximately 2-3 hours and can last for about 3 months of typical use. The charging port is a Type-C interface.
- Power On: To turn on the device, rotate the button knob. Wait for 10 seconds for the device to warm up and prepare for testing.

Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for accurate alcohol testing:
- Preparation: Ensure you have waited at least 20 minutes after drinking any alcoholic beverages before conducting a test. Testing immediately after drinking will only reflect mouth alcohol concentration, not blood alcohol content.
- Power On: Rotate the button knob to turn on the device. Wait for 10 seconds for the device to initialize.
- Perform Test: Blow continuously towards the air inlet, maintaining a distance of approximately 10cm from the device.
- View Results: After blowing, wait for another 10 seconds. The alcohol concentration value will be displayed on the high-contrast LED screen.

Interpreting Results
The device provides readings in two units: Chinese standard unit g/L and America standard unit %BAC. It also features a DUI reminder with light and beep warnings:
- Green Light: Pass (No alcohol detected or below legal limit).
- Yellow Light with Beeps: Drank (Alcohol detected, indicating drunk driving levels).
- Red Light with Beeps: Inebriated (High alcohol concentration, indicating severe impairment).

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Do not wipe the device directly with chemicals or corrosive solvents. This can cause liquid to flow into the mouthpiece and damage the internal components. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning the exterior.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The included U-shaped storage base can be used to secure the device in a convenient location, such as in a car.
- Battery Care: Recharge the device when the battery is low to ensure accurate readings and prolong battery life.

Troubleshooting
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure you wait at least 20 minutes after consuming alcohol before testing. Immediate testing may only detect mouth alcohol, leading to inaccurate results.
- A low battery can affect the accuracy of the test results. Ensure the device is sufficiently charged.
- Factors Affecting Results: Certain substances or conditions can influence test results. These include:
- Drugs containing alcohol (e.g., some mouthwashes).
- Hangovers.
- Food containing alcohol (e.g., egg pies, liqueur sugar).
- Drinks containing alcohol (e.g., functional beverages).
