6. Setup Guide
Before initial use, ensure all components are present and batteries are installed in wireless detectors.
6.1. Initial Power-Up and SIM Card Installation
- Connect the alarm host to the power adapter using the Micro USB cable.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the rear of the alarm host (refer to Figure 2). Insert a 4G SIM card into the slot.
- Turn on the power switch on the rear of the alarm host.
6.2. App Installation and Wi-Fi Connection
- Download the "TuyaSmart" or "Smart Life" app from your device's app store (available on iOS and Android).
- Open the app and register/log in.
- On the alarm host, navigate to the settings menu by pressing the "Menu" button (usually represented by a checkmark or menu icon).
- Select "Wifi" then "Smartlink Configure". The alarm host will enter configuration mode.
- In the TuyaSmart/Smart Life app, tap "+" to add a device.
- Select "Security & Sensor" and then "Alarm".
- Confirm the indicator light on the alarm host is rapidly blinking in the app.
- Enter your home Wi-Fi password (ensure it's a 2.4G network).
- The app will begin connecting. Once successful, the device will be added to your app.

6.3. Pairing Detectors and Accessories
The system supports up to 100 wireless zones for various detectors and accessories. The pairing process is generally similar for most wireless devices.
- Adding Remote Controls:
a. On the alarm host, navigate to "Parts" -> "Remote" -> "Add".
b. Press any button on the remote control to pair it with the alarm host. - Adding Wireless Detectors (e.g., Motion Sensor, Door/Window Sensor, Water Detector, Smoke Detector):
a. On the alarm host, navigate to "Parts" -> "Detector" -> "Add".
b. Trigger the detector (e.g., open a door sensor, wave in front of a motion sensor, touch the metal pins of a water detector with water, activate a smoke detector). The alarm host will learn the detector.
c. For water detectors, open the case, remove the jumper, insert batteries, and then pair to the alarm host by touching the metal pin to trigger it. - Adding RFID Cards:
a. On the alarm host, navigate to "Parts" -> "RFID" -> "Add".
b. Swipe the RFID card over the RFID reader area on the alarm host to pair it. - Connecting Wired Detectors:
a. Locate the "WIRED CONNECTOR" port on the rear of the alarm host (refer to Figure 2).
b. Connect the wired detectors (e.g., wired door detector) to this port. Ensure correct wiring according to the detector's specific instructions.
6.4. Integrating a Camera
The system allows for camera integration to enhance monitoring capabilities.
- Ensure your camera is compatible with the TuyaSmart or Smart Life app.
- Add the camera to the same app you use for the alarm system.
- Once added, you can view the camera feed and integrate it with alarm events within the app.
7. Operating Instructions
7.1. Arming and Disarming
- Via Keypad: Enter your password and press the ARM or DISARM button on the alarm host.
- Via Remote Control: Use the dedicated arm/disarm buttons on your remote control.
- Via App: Open the TuyaSmart/Smart Life app, select your alarm system, and use the "Arm" or "Disarm" functions.
- Voice Control (Alexa/Google Home): Integrate your alarm system with Alexa or Google Home. You can then use voice commands like "Alexa, please arm the smart security alarm" or "Alexa, please disarm the smart security alarm" (you may need to set a voice code for disarming).
- Timing Arm/Disarm: Set schedules for automatic arming and disarming through the alarm host settings or the mobile app.
7.2. SOS Function
Press the large "SOS" button on the alarm host in case of an emergency. The system will immediately trigger an alarm and notify preset emergency contacts. This feature is designed to protect the elderly and children.

7.3. Doorbell Function
The system supports a doorbell function. When a compatible doorbell is pressed, the alarm host will sound a "Ding Dong" chime.

You can customize the settings for each of the 100 wireless zones. This includes:
- Zone Naming: Assign names like "Gate", "Hall", "Bedroom", "Window", "Balcony", "Perimeter", "Smoke", "Gas", "Carbon Monoxide", "Water Leaking", etc.
- Defense Zone Types: Configure zones as Ordinary, Stay Arm, 24-hour Emergency, Closed, or Doorbell zones to meet specific security needs.
7.5. Remote Monitoring and Notifications
- APP Push: Receive instant notifications on your smartphone via the TuyaSmart/Smart Life app.
- SMS/Call Alert: The system can send SMS messages and make calls to up to 5 preset alarm phone numbers.
- Voice Monitoring: Remotely monitor the situation through the app when an alarm is triggered.
8. Maintenance
8.1. Battery Replacement for Detectors
Regularly check the battery status of your wireless detectors. The alarm host and app may provide low battery notifications. Replace batteries as follows:
- 433MHz Door Sensor: 3V CR2032 button battery.
- 433MHz Motion Detector: 3V CR2032 button battery.
- 433MHz Water Sensor: 3V CR123A battery.
- 433MHz Smoke Detector: 1.5V AAA battery.

- Detectors Not Pairing: Ensure batteries are correctly installed in wireless detectors. Make sure the alarm host is in "Add" mode for detectors. Trigger the detector correctly during the pairing process.
- No App Notifications: Check your phone's notification settings for the TuyaSmart/Smart Life app to ensure notifications are enabled. Verify the alarm host has a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or 4G).
