2. Product Analysis & Components

The V9C-800 is constructed from high-intensity aluminum alloy for excellent heat dissipation and durability. It incorporates an acrylic optical lens with a light transmittance rate of up to 90% for optimal illumination.

3. Setup

3.1 Mounting the Headlight

  1. Attach the H03 bracket to your bicycle's handlebar. The bracket includes a built-in anti-slip mat and is suitable for pipe diameters between 15-40mm.
  2. Securely fasten the bracket.
  3. Slide the V9C-800 headlight onto the bracket until it clicks into place.

3.2 Charging the Headlight

The V9C-800 is USB rechargeable. Use the provided Micro USB cable to charge the device.

  1. Locate the USB charging port on the headlight.
  2. Connect the Micro USB end of the cable to the headlight.
  3. Connect the standard USB end to a power source such as a computer, mobile power bank, or mobile phone charger.
  4. The charging indicator light will flash red when charging and turn blue when fully charged.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button located on the top of the headlight to turn the device on or off.

4.2 Mode Switching

The V9C-800 offers 5 switchable lighting modes to suit various riding conditions. Short press the power button to cycle through the modes:

  • High Luminance (800LM): Approximately 1 hour 20 minutes runtime.
  • Middle Luminance (400LM): Approximately 2 hours 10 minutes runtime.
  • Low Luminance (200LM): Approximately 4 hours 30 minutes runtime.
  • Flashing (50-100LM): Approximately 18 hours runtime.
  • Rapid Flash (800LM): Approximately 4 hours 30 minutes runtime.

4.3 High Temperature Protection

The device is equipped with high temperature protection. The brightness will automatically lower to the middle setting when the temperature reaches 65 degrees Celsius. It will reduce to 55 degrees and jump back to highlight mode, and will automatically shut down if the temperature rises to 75 degrees Celsius.

5. Maintenance

  • Keep the headlight clean. Wipe the lens and body with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Ensure the silicone waterproof ring around the power button and USB charging port is intact and free from debris to maintain IPX6 waterproof performance.
  • Store the headlight in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Charge the battery regularly, even if not used frequently, to prolong its lifespan.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. If fully charged, try pressing and holding the power button for a longer duration (3-5 seconds).
  • Light flickering or dim: The battery might be low. Recharge the device.
  • Charging issues: Check if the USB cable is properly connected to both the headlight and the power source. Try a different USB cable or power source.
  • Water ingress: If water enters the device, immediately turn it off and allow it to dry completely. Check the integrity of the silicone waterproof rings.

  • Regularly check the battery level, especially before long rides, to avoid unexpected power loss.
  • The IPX6 rating means it can withstand strong jets of water, making it suitable for rainy conditions, but it is not designed for submersion.
