5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Push the panel of the switch to the left to open the cover.
- Insert a CR2430 3V button battery (not included) into the battery slot, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the cover by pushing the panel back into place until it clicks securely.
5.2 Pairing with ZigBee Gateway
A ZigBee hub/gateway is required for the scene switch to function. Ensure your ZigBee gateway is powered on and connected to your network.
- Press and hold any button on the scene switch for 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes, indicating it has entered pairing mode.
- Open the Smart Life App on your smartphone.
- Navigate to your ZigBee gateway within the app and select 'Add Devices' or 'Search device'.
- The app will discover the scene switch. Confirm the device is paired successfully in the app.
5.3 Physical Installation
The scene switch requires no complex wiring and can be easily installed anywhere you desire.
- Peel off the protective backing from the provided double-sided tape.
- Attach the tape to the back of the scene switch.
- Choose a clean, dry, and flat surface (e.g., wall, cabinet, bedside table) and firmly press the switch onto it.

6. Operation
6.1 Creating Smart Scenes via the Smart Life App
The scene switch allows you to create up to 12 different scenes using its 4 buttons, with each button supporting three actions: single click, double click, and long press.
- Open the Smart Life App and select the paired scene switch.
- Tap 'Create intelligence' to set up new scenes.
- For each button, you can assign specific actions to each of the three conditions:
- Single click: Activates the 1st scene.
- Double click: Activates the 2nd scene.
- Long press (approx. 5 seconds): Activates the 3rd scene.
- Assign specific actions to each scenario (e.g., turn on/off lights, adjust brightness, control curtains, activate home/away modes).

6.2 Using the Scene Switch
Once scenes are configured, you can activate them with a simple press.
- Home Mode: Single press a configured button to turn on all your lights, air conditioners, fans, and other electronic devices when you arrive home.
- Away Mode: Double press a configured button to turn off all your lights, air conditioners, fans, and other electronic devices before leaving for work.
- Wake-up Mode: Single press a configured button to activate your morning routine, such as opening curtains and turning on lights.
- Sleep Mode: Long press a configured button to turn off all your lights and activate your bedtime routine before sleeping.

7.1 Battery Replacement
The scene switch has an approximate battery life of 730 days. When the battery is depleted, replace it as follows:

- Remove the old CR2430 3V button battery.
