Function of low blue light mode

With the increasing popularity of digital products, people spend a lot of time looking at various display screens (mobile phones, computers, tablets, etc.) every day. Today’s LCD mainly relies on blue light or ultraviolet light to excite phosphor to emit light, so we will inevitably be exposed to blue light or ultraviolet light radiation. Looking at the LCD screen for a long time will not only cause visual fatigue, but also may cause eye diseases, such as retinal inflammation, color discrimination, etc. Opening low blue light mode can reduce the blue light radiation ratio of mobile phones and tablets, reduce the screen brightness, and reduce the screen color temperature (making the screen yellow); The total energy of the blue light band and the peak energy of the blue light band are both suppressed, thereby reducing the damage of the harmful blue light radiation of the screen to the eye health.

    Question

How do I use the keyboard and mouse with the DOOGEE U10 tablet, and how do I know when charging is complete?

    Answer

Based on the DOOGEE U10 Android Tablet User Manual, here is the information regarding your request:

    • Charging Status: The manual does not specify a specific LED indicator color for completion. However, it advises that when charging is complete, you should disconnect the charger from the device and unplug it from the power outlet. You can typically monitor the battery percentage on the tablet's screen. The manual warns against leaving the battery connected for a long time after it is fully charged, as overcharging will shorten battery life.
    • Keyboard and Mouse: The provided manual does not contain specific instructions for external accessories like a keyboard or mouse. Generally, for Android tablets:
      • Bluetooth Accessories: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Pair new device and follow the pairing instructions for your specific keyboard/mouse.
      • Wired Accessories: Use the Type-C Port (labeled as #01 in the manual) with a compatible OTG (On-The-Go) adapter to connect USB peripherals.

    Manuals+ clarified question
    Question

Why is my DOOGEE U10 tablet getting very hot while playing games?

    Answer

It is common for tablets to generate heat during intensive tasks like gaming, but excessive heat can be problematic. Based on the DOOGEE U10 manual and safety guidelines, here are steps to manage and troubleshoot overheating:

    • Avoid External Heat Sources: Ensure the tablet is not exposed to direct sunlight or near other heat-generating equipment while you are playing.
    • Check Charging Status: Do not play intensive games while the tablet is charging, as this significantly increases heat. The manual recommends unplugging the charger once the battery is full to prevent overheating and extend battery life.
    • Remove Protective Cases: If you are using a thick protective cover, try removing it during gameplay to allow better heat dissipation from the back of the device.
    • Force Restart: If the tablet becomes unresponsive or abnormally hot due to a software glitch, press and hold the Power Button for more than 12 seconds to force a restart.
    • Safety Warning: The manual warns that overheating of the battery can be dangerous. If the device becomes too hot to touch, stop using it immediately, turn it off, and allow it to cool down in a well-ventilated area.

If the overheating persists even with low-demand apps, it may indicate a hardware issue covered under DOOGEE's 1-year warranty.
