Product Description

Please read this manual carefully before using the product and keep it properly.

Packing list

Pairing and Connecting

Applicable Equipment

1. Xiaomi devices: Xiaomi devices sold in mainland China that run Xiaomi HyperOS 3 or later (requires downloading the “Find Device” app first).
2. Apple devices: iPhone/iPad with iOS14.5/iPadOS14.5 or above (use the system’s built-in “Find” app).

Preparation Before Matching

1. Remove the outer packaging film and pull out the battery insulation sheet. After hearing the prompt sound, the device will power on and enter pairing mode.
2. Make sure Bluetooth and location services are enabled on your phone. Tip: After the device enters pairing mode, if pairing is not completed within 10 minutes, it will automatically enter sleep mode. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds. After hearing the prompt tone, the device will wake up and re-enter pairing mode.

Connect to Xiaomi Device

1. Download and install the “Find My Device” app.
2. Put this product into pairing mode and place it close to the Xiaomi device. When the screen displays “XiaomiTag card detected,” tap [Connect].
3. Once the connection is complete, a “Linked to Xiaomi Account” page will appear. Click “Continue.”
4. Go to the “Set Name” page, select or customize a name from the list, and click “Continue” to complete the addition. You’ll hear a confirmation tone when it’s successful. Finally, click [Finish] or [View Details] to enter the details page.

Tip: If the “Discover XiaomiTag” card does not pop up, please open the “Find Device” app, click [+] on the [Item] page to manually add this product.

Connect to Apple Devices

1. Put this product into pairing mode and bring it close to your iPhone/iPad.
2. Open the “Find” app → [Items] → [+] → [Add Other Items].
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the name and emoji settings: the device will be associated with your Apple ID and confirmed by a beep.

Unbind

Xiaomi Devices

1. Bring the product close to your Xiaomi device, open the “Find My Device” app, navigate to the “Items” section, and tap on the item name (e.g., “XiaomiTag”).
2. Scroll to the bottom, click [Remove This Item] → [Remove], and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the unbinding. The device will confirm with a beep sound after success.

Apple Devices

1. Bring the product close to your iPhone/iPad, open the “Find” app, go to [Items], and tap the item name (e.g., “Xiaomi Tag”).
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page, click [Remove Item] → [Remove], and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the unbinding process. The device will confirm with an audible tone upon successful unbinding.

Device Reset
If you’re unable to remove the Xiaomi Tag from the currently connected device, or if pairing with a new device fails after removal, please follow these steps to reset it:

1. Open the battery compartment, remove the battery, and let it sit for 15 seconds.
2. Reinstall the battery, ensuring it’s fully charged and making good contact.
3. Press and hold the button for about 15 seconds. When you hear the prompt tone, the reset is completed and the device enters pairing mode.

Loss Mode

• Once your Xiaomi Tag is paired with a Xiaomi or Apple device (as described above), you can enable “Lost Mode” through the “Find My” app on your Apple device or the “Find” app on your Xiaomi device. Be sure to leave your contact information.
• When “Lost Mode” is enabled, anyone can tap their NFC-enabled device against your XiaomiTag to access your contact information. Note: The NFC sensor area of XiaomiTag is on the back.

Battery Replacement

1. Follow the groove along the battery compartment cover and use a coin/plastic piece/nail to gently pry it open.
2. Take out the old battery; put the new battery in with the positive pole (+) facing up.
3. Snap the battery cover back on and press along the edges until it’s fully closed. The device will automatically power on and a beep will confirm.

Notice

• This device uses a CR2032 button cell battery (3V lithium-manganese), which is non-rechargeable. Only replace with batteries of the same model and specifications, and install them according to the positive (+) and negative (-) polarity markings inside the battery compartment. Incorrect model or reverse installation may cause overheating, leakage, fire, or electric shock.
• Do not swallow the battery, risk of chemical burns.
• This product contains button batteries. If button cell batteries are swallowed, serious internal burns can occur within 2 hours, potentially leading to death.

Please note that this protection is not permanent and may be compromised by daily wear and tear, disassembly, or reassembly. Do not use in seawater, hot water/steam, with cleaning agents, in deep water areas, or in high-pressure spray environments.
• This product uses a 3V lithium-manganese coin cell battery (CR2032) and is non-rechargeable. Replace only with the same battery model and specifications, and ensure correct polarity (+) as indicated in the battery compartment.
• It is prohibited to disassemble, impact, squeeze, puncture, heat or throw into fire; it is prohibited to use the battery after it is immersed in water or the casing is damaged.
• If the product is severely deformed, or the battery is bulged/leaked/water enters, please stop using it immediately.
• This product and battery are small items and pose a choking hazard; please keep them out of reach of children; if you suspect swallowing, please seek medical attention immediately. If the battery compartment cover cannot be completely closed, please stop using it and keep it away from kids.
