SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
SYMBOLS: The following symbols are used in this manual and on the machine:

Read all warnings and safety instructions. Ignoring warnings and following instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury. Save the warnings and safety instructions for future reference. The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to either the mainsoperated (corded) power tool or the battery-operated (cordless) powertool.
BEFORE USING
- Remove any packing materials and loose parts from the unit.
- Check the accessories before use. They must fit the machine and its purpose.
- If the machine is new, the battery must be charged first.
- Attention! After long storage, the battery capacity will decrease.
- A new battery or one that has not been used for a long time reaches full performance only after charge and discharge cycles. A substantial drop in the run time per charge indicates that the battery is worn out and should be replaced.
WORK AREA
- Keep the area clean and well-lit. Clutter or poor lighting can cause accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks, which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
- Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage indicated on the nameplate.
- Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use adapter plugs with grounded power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Avoid bodily contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, heaters, stoves, and refrigerators. There is a great risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
- Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. If water gets into a power tool, it will increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not damage the cable. Never use the cord to carry, pull, or unplug the power tool. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
- When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Using a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
- If using a power tool in a wet location is unavoidable, use a power supply protected by a residual current device (RCD). The use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
PERSONAL SECURITY
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating a power tool can result in serious personal injury.
- Wear safety gear. Always wear eye protection. Wearing safety equipment such as a dust mask, non-slip safety shoes, a hard hat, or hearing protection whenever necessary will reduce the risk of personal injury.
- Avoid accidental starts. Make sure the switch is in the off position before connecting to a power source and/or battery, lifting or carrying the tool.
- Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools when the switch is in the on position increases the chance of accidents.
- Remove all adjusting wrenches or wrenches before turning on the power tool. An adjustable wrench or wrench placed in a rotating part of the power tool can cause personal injury.
- Don’t try to spread your hands too far. Keep your feet firmly on the ground at all times. This will allow you to maintain control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from the power tool. Loose clothing, jewelry, or long hair can become entangled in moving parts.
- If there are devices for connecting dust extraction and collection facilities, make sure they are connected and used properly. Using these devices can reduce dust-related hazards.
USE AND CARE OF ELECTRICAL TOOLS
- Don’t expect the power tool to do more than it can. Use the right power tool for what you want to do. A power tool will perform better and be safer if it is used in the context for which it was designed.
- Do not use the power tool if the switch cannot turn it on and off. A power tool with a broken switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
- Disconnect the plug from the power source before making adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. These preventive safety measures reduce the risk of accidentally starting the power tool.
- Store power tools out of the reach of children when not in use, and do not allow anyone unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to use the power tool. Power tools are potentially dangerous in the hands of untrained people.
- Take care of the maintenance of power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and other conditions that may affect the power tool’s operation. If the power tool is damaged, take it in for repair before using it. Many accidents are caused by poor maintenance of power tools.
- Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Cutting tools with sharp edges are less likely to jam and are easier to control.
- Use the power tool, accessories, and tool tips, etc., in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be carried out. Using the power tool for operations other than those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
TECHNICAL SERVICE
Your power tool should be serviced by a qualified specialist using only standard replacement parts. This will ensure that it meets the required security standards.
- Use only replacement parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with the tool. Loss of control can cause personal injury.
- Hold the power tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. Cutting accessory contacting a “live” wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and could give the operator an electric shock.
- Hold the power tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the fastener may contact hidden wiring. Fasteners contacting a “live” wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and could give the operator an electric shock.
- If possible, always use clamps or a vice to hold your work.
- Always switch off before you put the tool down.
- Ensure that the lighting is adequate.
- Do not put pressure on the tool so that it slows the motor down. Allow the bit to screw without pressure. You will get better results, and you will be taking better care of your tool.
- Keep the area free of tripping hazards.
- Only use accessory bits in good condition.
- Before starting, check that there is sufficient clearance for the bit under the workpiece.
- Do not touch the bit after the operation. It will be very hot.
