Important Safety Instructions
Your HDTV is designed and manufactured to operate within defined design limits, and misuse may result in electric shock or fire. To prevent your HDTV from being damaged, the following rules should be observed for the installation, use, and maintenance of your HDTV. Read the following safety instructions before operating your HDTV. Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.

  • To reduce the risk of electric shock or component damage, switch off the power before connecting other components to your HDTV.
  • Unplug the power cord before cleaning your HDTV. A damp cloth is sufficient for cleaning your HDTV. Do not use a liquid or a spray cleaner for cleaning your HDTV. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Always use the accessories recommended by the manufacturer to insure compatibility.
  • When moving your HDTV from an area of low temperature to an area of high temperature, condensation may form in the housing. Wait before turning on your HDTV to avoid causing fire, electric shock, or component damage.
  • Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by manufacturer or sold with your HDTV. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/HDTV combination to avoid injury from tip-over. Do not place your HDTV on an unstable cart, stand, or table. If your HDTV falls, it can injure a person and cause serious damage to your HDTV. Use only a cart or stand recommended by the manufacturer or sold with your HDTV.
  • A distance of at least 3 feet should be maintained between your HDTV and any heat source, such as a radiator, heater, oven, amplifier etc. Do not install your HDTV close to smoke. Operating your HDTV close to smoke or moisture may cause fire or electric shock.
  • Slots and openings in the back and bottom of the cabinet are provided for ventilation. To ensure reliable operation of your HDTV and to protect it from overheating, be sure these openings are not blocked or covered. Do not place your HDTV in a bookcase or cabinet unless proper ventilation is provided.
  • Never push any object into the slots and openings on your HDTV cabinet. Do not place any objects on the top of your HDTV. Doing so could short circuit parts causing a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquids on your HDTV.
  • Your HDTV should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the label. If you are not sure of the type of power supplied to your home, consult your dealer or local power company.
  • Do not apply pressure or throw objects at your HDTV. This may compromise the integrity of the display. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover user abuse or improper installations.
  • The power cord must be replaced when using different voltage than the voltage specified. For more information, contact your dealer.
  • Your HDTV is equipped with a three-pronged grounded plug (a plug with a third grounding pin). This plug will fit only into a grounded power outlet. This is a safety feature. If your outlet does not accommodate the three-pronged, have an electrician install the correct outlet, or use an adapter to ground your HDTV safely. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounded plug.
  • When connected to a power outlet, power is always flowing into your HDTV. To totally disconnect power, unplug the power cord.
  • The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of un-isolated, dangerous voltage within the inside of your HDTV that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
  • The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and servicing instructions in the literature accompanying your HDTV.
  • Do not overload power strips and extension cords. Overloading can result in fire or electric shock.
  • The wall socket should be installed near your HDTV and easily accessible.
  • Only power of the marked voltage can be used for your HDTV. Any other voltage than the specified voltage may cause fire or electric shock
  • Do not touch the power cord during lightning. To avoid electric shock, avoid handling the power cord during electrical storms.
  • Unplug your HDTV during a lightning storm or when it will not be used for long period of time. This will protect your HDTV from damage due to power surges.
  • Do not attempt to repair or service your HDTV yourself. Opening or removing the back cover may expose you to high voltages, electric shock, and other hazards. If repair is required, contact your dealer and refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
  • Keep your HDTV away from moisture. Do not expose your HDTV to rain or moisture. If water penetrates into your HDTV, unplug the power cord and contact your dealer. Continuous use in this case may result in fire or electric shock.
  • • Do not use your HDTV if any abnormality occurs. If any smoke or odor becomes apparent, unplug the power cord and contact your dealer immediately. Do not try to repair your HDTV yourself.
  • Avoid using dropped or damaged appliances. If your HDTV is dropped and the housing is damaged, the internal components may function abnormally. Unplug the power cord immediately and contact your dealer for repair. Continued use of your HDTV may cause fire or electric shock.
  • Do not install your HDTV in an area with heavy dust or high humidity. Operating your HDTV in environments with heavy dust or high humidity may cause fire or electric shock.
  • Follow instructions for moving your HDTV. Ensure that the power cord and any other cables are unplugged before moving your HDTV.
  • When unplugging your HDTV, hold the power plug, not the cord. Pulling on the power cord may damage the wires inside the cord and cause fire or electric shock. When your HDTV will not be used for an extended period of time, unplug the power cord.
  • To reduce risk of electric shock, do not touch the connector with wet hands.
  • • Insert batteries in accordance with instructions. Incorrect polarities may cause the batteries to leak which can damage the remote control or injure the operator.
  • If any of the following occurs, contact the dealer:
  • o The power cord fails or frays.
  • o Liquid sprays or any object drops into your HDTV.
  • o Your HDTV is exposed to rain or other moisture.
  • o Your HDTV is dropped or damaged in any way.
  • o The performance of your HDTV changes substantially.

Television Antenna Connection Protection
External Television Antenna Grounding
If an outside antenna/satellite dish or cable system is to be connected to the TV, make sure that the antenna or cable system is electrically grounded to provide some protection against voltage surges and static charges.

Article 810 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPSA 70, provides information with regard to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of the grounding conductors, location of antenna discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements of the grounding electrode.

Lightning Protection

Lightning Protection
For added protection of the TV during a lightning storm or when it is left unattended or unused for long periods of time, unplug the TV from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system.

Power Lines
Do not locate the antenna near overhead light or power circuits, or where it could fall into such power lines or circuits. Remember, the screen of the coaxial cable is intended to be connected to earth in the building installation.

FCC Bulletin for New TV Owners
The nationwide switch to digital television broadcasting will be complete on June 12, 2009, but your local television stations may switch sooner. After the switch, analog-only television sets that receive TV programming through an antenna will need a converter box to continue to receive over-the-air TV. Watch your local stations to find out when they will turn off their analog signal and switch to digital-only broadcasting. Analog-only TVs should continue to work as before to receive low power, Class A or translator television stations and with cable and satellite TV services, gaming consoles, VCRs, DVD players, and similar products.

provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock.

This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and
grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

DANGER
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the
appliance – if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.

MAIN FEATURES OF THE DELUXE ENVIRO STEAMER
Thank you for having chosen our product and allow us to congratulate you for having
purchased the Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer.

The Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer achieves a high degree of hygienic and degreasing
power on floors. It turns water into steam in just a few minutes, so when contact is made with surfaces dirt and grime is removed.

Since the Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer uses the active power of steam without the use of detergents or soap, it is safe for the environment.

The Deluxe Enviro Steamer is a new way of cleaning that is effective and hygienic.
The Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer does not allow calcium deposits to adhere to the
boiler and does not require distilled water. Areas with hard water should use distilled
water for better performance. See the maintenance section for care.

Other Advantages of the Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer
The Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer can kill dust mites and some types of bacteria, such as salmonella and E-coli when used properly.

To disinfect a specific area, position the steamer over the area for a minimum of eight
seconds. This allows the floor under the steamer to reach approximately 170°F. Use this procedure to disinfect floors near: bathroom stools, food preparation areas (not on
kitchen counters), pet sleeping quarters, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer is designed to thoroughly clean floor surfaces, such as marble, ceramic, stone, linoleum, sealed hard wood floors and parquet.

WARNING: On surfaces that have been treated with wax or some no wax floors,
the sheen may be removed by the heat and steam action. Do not use on unsealed wood floors or let unit stand on any wood floor for an extended period of time. This could cause the woodgrain to rise.
It is therefore recommended that a sample cleansing be carried out on an isolated area of the floor. Also, check use and care instructions from the floor manufacturer.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE

HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE
  1. After having taken the appliance out of its box, screw the telescopic tube onto the main part of the appliance (Fig. 1). Then turn the two ends and pull them out to the desired length. Lock in the upper part by turning clockwise (Fig. 1b).

Do not plug unit into an electrical outlet until Step 5.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE (continued)

HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE (continued)
  1. Secure the cable onto its hook at the top of the tube (Fig. 2). Wrap cord for storage (Fig. 2a).
Fig.3

3. Rest the base of the Enviro Steamer on its floorcloth as supplied, making sure that the edges are secured over the base (Fig. 3). Then tuck both ends of the floor cloth under the cloth clips. Do not use without a floorcloth in place.

CAUTION: Floorcloth grippers have sharp teeth.

Fig. 4

4. Unscrew the safety cap (D), insert funnel (J) and pour 2 measures of water using the measuring cup (I) (total 12 oz.) into the tank, then screw the safety cap back on.
NOTE: Do not overfill.

5. Now, plug the unit into an electrical outlet.

6. Place the Deluxe Enviro Steamer on its preheating/cool down tray then press on/off switch and wait for about 3-4 minutes (Fig. 5). Do not leave the device unattended during the waiting period. CAUTION: Do not leave the device standing on the floor. If you notice the formation of a whitish “halo,” it may be removed using a normal decalcifying product or with a few drops of vinegar.

7. As soon as Deluxe Enviro Steamer emits steam, begin using it, passing slowly over the surfaces to be cleaned. This is the ideal method for thoroughly cleaning your floor. To disinfect specific areas of the floor, leave the steamer over the spot for a minimum of eight seconds, but no more than 15 seconds.

WARNING: Never turn the floor steamer over, or on its side when using steamer, or direct steam at any person, animal, or plants. Use only on floors.

8. When Deluxe Enviro Steamer no longer emits steam the water refill light (F) will
come on. This means that there is no more water (this will happen after approximately
15 minutes of use). Place appliance on preheating/cool down tray, turn off (Fig. 5)
and unplug from the electrical outlet. Take off the safety cap, and refill. During
refilling, be careful not to touch the hot parts of the device. CAUTION: Safety cap
and floorcloth may be hot.

9. Replace safety cap, turn your Deluxe Enviro Steamer on again and steam will start
to be produced as before.

10. After each use, rinse the floorcloth in running water and line dry. It may shrink if put
in a clothes dryer.
CAUTION: Whenever changing the floorcloth, turn off the appliance (Fig. 5)
and unplug. Be careful not to touch the hot parts of the device.

11. After use, wind the power cord around the cord hooks (Fig. 2a) before putting the
appliance away.

12. Always empty leftover water prior to storage.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
NOTE: The unit must be turned off and unplugged from the electrical outlet and
allowed to cool down before all cleaning and maintenance tasks.
In order to guarantee perfect functioning over a long period of time the tank needs to be rinsed out with water once a month to eliminate any accumulated calcium deposits. Do not use vinegar or other decalcifying substances. Put in two measures of water,
replace the safety cap and shake to loosen deposits. Remove safety cap and immediately empty water into a sink. CAUTION: Do not immerse the unit in water.
The Eureka Deluxe Enviro Steamer should be used with its own specially developed
floorcloths (spare floorcloths are available from your Eureka retailer).

PROBLEM SOLVING
NOTE: Turn OFF the power switch and unplug the electrical cord before servicing.

5.1 Direct Code Entry
Your Universal Remote Control Package contains a code list. The code list shows 4-digit codes for most A/V device manufacturers in alphabetical order and grouped by device type (e.g. TV, DVD, etc.). If the device you want to control is covered by the code list, the Direct Code Entry is the most convenient entry method.
5.1.1 Turn on the device you want to control
5.1.2 Press the SETUP key until the LED indicator is permanently lit.
5.1.3 Select the device you want to control using the device key (e.g. TV). A successful selection is indicated by the LED with one flash followed by permanent light.
5.1.4 Check code list for brand and type of the device you want to control.
5.1.5 Enter the corresponding 4-digit code using the 0 – 9 keys. The LED indicator confirms each entered digit via a short flash and turns off after the fourth digit.

Note
► If the code is valid, it is saved automatically.
► If code is invalid, the LED indicator flashes six times and then turns off. Repeat steps 5.1.1 to 5.1.5 or use a different code entry method.

5.2 Manual code search
Your Universal Remote Control is equipped with an internal memory, which is preloaded with up to 350 codes per device type for the most common A/V devices. You can zap through these codes until the device you want to control shows a reaction. This might be that the device you want to control switches off (POWER key) or changes the channel (PROG+/PROG- keys).
5.2.1 Turn on the device you want to control
5.2.2 Press the SETUP key until the LED indicator is permanently lit.

5.2.3 Select the device you want to control using the device key (e.g. TV). A successful selection is indicated by the LED with one flash followed by permanent light.

If so, repeat steps 5.2.1 to 5.2.5 to find a more compatible code. No code may be available for some special device models.

5.3 Auto Code Search
Auto Code Search uses the same preloaded codes as the Manual Code Search (5.2) but your Universal Remote Control scanns through the codes automatically until the device you want to control shows a reaction. Note: Scan Speed Settings
► Scan Speed Settings can be set at either 1 or 3 seconds. The default setting for the scan time per single code is 1 sec. If this feels uncomfortable , you can switch to 3 sec. scan time per single code. To switch between the scan times, press PROG+ or PROG- during the 6 sec. latency before Auto Code Search starts scanning.
5.3.5 The LED indicator confirms each single code scan with a single flash.
5.3.6 Press MUTE(OK) to save the code and exit the code search. The LED indicator turns off.
5.3.7 To stop the Auto Code Search during the scan process, press the EXIT key.

Auto Code Search and returns to operational mode automatically. Currently stored code is not changed.

TROUBLESHOOTING & FAQ

I hear crackling noises

  • Bluetooth is a radio technology, which means it is sensitive to objects between the speakerphone and the connected device. It is designed for the speakerphone and the connected device to be used within 33 feet (10 meters) of each other, with no major objects in the way (walls, etc.).

I cannot hear anything in my speakerphone

  • Increase the volume in the speakerphone.
  • Ensure that the speakerphone is paired to a device that is playing.
  • Make sure your phone is connected to the speakerphone by tapping the Answer/End button.

I am having pairing problems

  • You may have deleted your speakerphone pairing connection in your mobile phone/device. Follow the pairing instruction to pair it again.

I want to reset the pairing list in my speakerphone

  • The speakerphone registers a list of up to 7 mobile phones. To clear the pairing list and reset the Jabra FREEWAY to factory settings you can turn the FREEWAY on while pressing the FM, Voice and Answer/end button for about 6 seconds. The next time you power on the Jabra FREEWAY it will automatically go into pairing mode.

Will the Jabra FREEWAY work with other Bluetooth equipment?

  • The Jabra FREEWAY is designed to work with Bluetooth mobile phones. It can also work with other Bluetooth devices that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1 or higher and support a headset, hands-free and/or advance audio distribution profile.

I cannot use Reject call, call on hold, Redial or voice dialing

  • These features are dependent on the ability of your phone to support a hands-free profile. Even if the hands free profile is implemented reject call, call hold and voice dialing are optional features which are not supported by all devices. Please consult your device manual for details.

Please note that some features can only be operated from the primary device e.g. voice dial using Jabra FREEWAY with 2 mobile phones.

I can not connect speakerphone and radio via FM transmitter

  • Make sure the radio is turned on and speakerphone is in FM mode (FM Status Icon is on).
  • If your radio when searching is not able to find the FM frequency set by your speakerphone, the FM frequency must be tuned in manually on the radio. Please read radio manual to find out how to manually change frequency on your radio.
  • If your radio is in TA (Traffic Announcement) mode, switch TA off and your radio should be able to find your speakerphone when using the search function on the radio. If not tune in manually.
  • The sensitivity of the search function on your radio determines whether it is able to find the frequency set by your speakerphone. On some radios you are able to adjust the sensitivity thus making it possible to find the speakerphone frequency when searching. If not tune in manually.
  • In urban areas it might be difficult to find a clear frequency. It is therefore advisable to use a frequency in the lower or upper end of the FM frequency band (e.g. 88.1 or 107.7 MHz) where you will have the best chance to find a clear frequency.

My Jabra FREEWAY does not announce the caller names during incoming calls

  • Ensure that your phone supports the Bluetooth® phonebook access profile (PBAP) and that the name of the caller is in you phonebook.

Please note that on some Android phones a warning message about the phonebook transfer appears in the top left corner. You must select this message and agree to the connection in order to get caller ID to function properly.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR SPEAKERPHONE

  • Always store the Jabra FREEWAY with the power off and safely protected.
  • Avoid storage at extreme temperatures (above 45°C/113°F – including direct sunlight – or below -10°C/14°F). This can shorten battery life and may affect operation. High temperatures may also degrade performance.
  • Do not expose the Jabra FREEWAY to rain or other liquids

GLOSSARY

  1. Bluetooth is a radio technology that connects devices, such as mobile phones and headsets, without wires or cords over a short distance (approx. 10 meters/33 feet). Bluetooth is safe to use. It is secure too, so once a connection has been made no-one can listen in and there is no interference from other Bluetooth devices either. Get more information at www.bluetooth.com.
  2. Bluetooth profiles are the different ways that Bluetooth devices communicate with other devices. Bluetooth phones support the headset profile, the hands-free profile or both. In order to support a certain profile, a phone manufacturer must implement certain mandatory features within the phone’s software.
  3. Pairing creates a unique and encrypted link between two Bluetooth devices and lets them communicate with each other. Bluetooth devices will not work if the devices have not been paired.
  4. Passkey or PIN is a code that you enter on your Bluetooth enabled device (e.g. a mobile phone) to pair it with your Jabra FREEWAY. This makes your device and the Jabra FREEWAY recognize each other and automatically work together.
  5. Standby mode is when the Jabra FREEWAY is passively waiting for a call. When you ‘end’ a call on your mobile phone, the speakerphone goes into standby mode.

Dispose of the product according to local standards and regulations.
