The light on the front of the range extender gives you information about power, updating and signal strength.

Wi-Fi Protected Setup Button and LED Use Wi-Fi Protected Setup to automatically and securely add compatible wireless devices to your network. Refer to Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup on page 7.
Reset Press and hold for about five seconds to reset to factory defaults. You can also restore the defaults from Administration> Factory Default Screen in the extender’s Browser-based utility.

Ethernet (blue) Connect wired devices to your wireless network with Ethernet (network) cables. The green light turns on when an Ethernet device is connected and active on this port. The light blinks when the extender is sending or receiving data over the Ethernet port.

How to install the range extender
Before setup, unplug or disconnect any range extenders on the network.

1. Plug in the range extender midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi.
Be sure you have the least 50% of your Router’s Wi-Fi signal at that point on the device you will use for setup. The setup software will help you find the best spot if you have trouble.

2. Wait for a solid light on the cover of the range extender. It could take up to two minutes. On a computer, phone or tablet, connect to the Wi-Fi networks ” Linksys Extender Setup”

3.If setup Does not start automatically, Open a Browser to http://extender.linksys.com.

Linksys’s spot finder technology will help you find the right location for your range extender if you have trouble. You will be guided to place the range extender closer orfarther from your router to improve the signal. If you nailed it with your first placement you will not see Spot finder screens.

4. During setup you will be asked whether you want the range extender to update itself automatically. If you allow automatic updates, the range extender will download and install updates when released by Linksys. Automatic updates will take place overnight so they do not disrupt your network activity.

How to access the browser-based utility

After setting up the Extender Use the Exterder Browser-based utility to change any settings.
On a computer or device that is connected to your range extender, open any browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.), and enter extender. linksys.com in the address bar.

You will be prompted to enter a user name and password. If you did not change them during setup, leave the user name blank and enter “admin” in the password fields. If you customized the SSID and password, enter those credentials.

If you are connected to your local network, but not to the range extender, you will need to enter the extender’s IP Address in your browse to access the extenders settings.

Windows XP:
1. Enable UPnP:
a) Click Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Program, then click Add/Remove Windows Components.
b) Select Network Services, then click Details.
c) Select UPnP User Interface, then click OK.

2. Open Windows Explorer. Click My Network Places on the left panel.
3. Look for the RE6700 icon on the right panel. (You might be required to change the firewall for instructions.)

Windows 8, Windows 7, or Vista:
1. Open Windows Explorer (File Explorer in Windows 8). Click Network. Look for the RE6700 icon on the right panel. (You might be required to change the firewall settings to allow the display of network computers. Refer to your operating system help for instructions.
2. Right-click the RE6700 icon. Click Properties. Click on the address link in Device web page.

Mac OS X:
1. Open Safari. Be sure that Bonjour is included in the Bookmarks menu and Favorites bar.a. Go to Safari Preferences > Advanced and be sure each Bonjour box is selected.
2. Find Bonjour in the Bookmarks menu or Favorite bar and chose Linksys Extender If you have changed your network name and password, choose the network
name and enter the password you created.

Using range extender settings

Click Help on the right side of the screen for additional information on the screen options. Changes to settings will not be effective until you click Save at the bottom of the screen. You also can click Cancel to clear any changes.

Wi-Fi Protected Setup makes it easy to connect your Extender to your network and connect other devices to your network through the extender.

WPS Light

Connecting the extender to an existing access point

If your access point or router supports it, you can use Wi-Fi Protected Setup to connect the range extender to the access point or router. Log in to the browser-based utility and click on WPS in the left navigation bar. Choose from the setup methods below to connect the extender.

NOTE
If you have an access point or a router that does not support Wi-Fi Protected Setup, note the wireless settings, and then manually configure the extender.

1. Press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on the extender. If you have a dual-band router you will do this again to extend the second network. The 2.4 GHz band will be extended first.

2. Click the Wi-Fi Protected Setup Burton on Router Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen (if available), OR press and hold the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on the router for one second. When the connection is complete, the Wi-Fi Protected Setup light on the extender will be solid.

3. If you use the Extender’s Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen, click OK in that screen within two minutes.

TIP
You can also access WPS in the browser-based utility by clicking WPS in the left navigation bar.

Connecting with the Range Extender PIN
The Wi-Fi Protected Setup PIN (Personal Identification Number) can be found on the product label on the back of the Extender, You can Use the Method, if only your Router administration utility has a Wi-Fi Protected Setup menu.

1.Enter the Exterder Pin into the Appropriate Field on the Router’s Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen. Click Register. When the connection is complete, the Wi-Fi Protected Setup light on the extender will be solid.
2. Click OK.

Choose from the methods below to connect devices that support Wi-Fi Protected Setup to your network. Delete the screen below

Repeat the instructions for each client device that supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup.

Connecting with the Wi-Fi Protected Setup Button
Use this method if your client device has a Wi-Fi Protected Setup button.

2. Click the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on the Extender’s Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen, OR press and hold the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on the side of the extender for one second. When the connection is complete, the Wi-Fi Protected Setup light on the extender will be solid.
3. If Using the Extender Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen, be sure to click OK within two minutes or you will have to start over.

Connecting With the Client Device PIN
Use this method if your client device has a Wi-Fi Protected Setup PIN (Personal Identification Number).

1.Inter the PIN from Device in the fielt on Extender Wi -Fi Protected Setup screen.
2. Click Register on the Extender Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen. When the connection is complete, the Wi-Fi Protected Setup light on the extender will be solid.
3. Click OK on the Extender Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen within two minutes or you will have to start over.

Connecting with the Extender PIN
Use this Method if your Client device ask for the Extender PIN.
1. On the Client Device enter the PIN, Listed on the Extender Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen. (It is also listed on the product label on the back of the extender.) When the connection is complete, the Wi-Fi Protected Setup light on the extender will be solid.
2. Click OK on the Extender Wi-Fi Protected Setup screen within two minutes.

How to use Site Survey
Site Survey gives a snapshot of all neighboring access points and wireless routers within range of the extender.
To open the Site Survey page:
1. Log in to the browser- Based Utility see( How to access on the Browser on page 5).
2. Click the Wireless tab. Click the Site Survey page.
3. Select􀂲To connect to a wireless network, click the button next to the wireless network name (SSID) in the Select column, and click Connect.
4. SSID􀂲Displays the name of neighboring wireless networks.
5. GHz􀂲Displays the radio band (in GHz) of the neighboring wireless networks
6. Signal Strength􀂲Displays the relative position of the neighboring access points by indicating the power of the wireless signal received: dot only = 25%, dot + one
wave = 50%, dot + two waves = 75%, dot + three waves = 100%. If no waves are displayed, your extender is too far from the upstream access point or the signal is blocked. Try to keep the signal strength between 60% and 100% for optimum performance.
7. Security􀂲Displays the mode of security in use by the neighboring APs. If a network supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup, the Wi-Fi Protected Setup icon is also displayed.

To connect your extender with an access point or router in Site Survey, you will need to know the password or passphrase of the network on that device.
1. Select the network name (SSID) that you want to repeat with your extender by clicking the corresponding button in the Select column.
2. Click Connect. When prompted, enter the password or passphrase used to secure your wireless network. The type of security information required in this screen must Much your Access.

TIP: For dual-band networks, be sure to connect to both bands, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.

3. Click Save. Your extender wireless parameters should be configured. The wireless interface will restart, and the extender will connect to the access point or router you have chosen.

Cross-Band

Cross-Band is the simultaneous use of both bands for high-speed data transfer and uninterrupted streaming and gaming.

Troubleshooting
NOTE Your RE6700 works on 2.4GHz and 5 GHz networks.

You cannot get your extender connected
Check the position of your router and extender
􀁸 For first-time setup, you may need to place the extender closer to the router. after you have setup your extender you can unplug it and move it from the final location.
􀁸 To reduce signal obstructions, try alternate locations for the router and extender.
􀁸 Avoid placing the router and extender near metal objects, masonry walls, and reflective surfaces such as glass or mirrors.
􀁸 Avoid placing the router and extender near other electronics that may cause signal interference.

If you are using Wi-Fi Protected Setup to connect, wait until the Wi-Fi Protected
Setup indicator stops blinking before trying to make the connection again.
You cannot access your range extender To access your range extender, you must be connected to your own network. If you currently have wireless Internet access, the problem may be that you have accidentally connected to a different wireless network.

To fix the problem on Windows computers:

1. On your Windows desktop, right-click the wireless icon in the system tray. The icon might look different depending on which version of Windows you are running.
2. Click View Available Wireless Networks.

3. Select your network name. Click Connect. In the example below, the computer was connected to another wireless network named JimsRouter. The name of the correct network, BronzeEagle in this example, is selected.

4. If you are prompted to enter a network key, type your password (Security Key) into the Network key and Confirm network key fields. Click Connect.You should now be able to access the Range Extender Browser-based utility.

To fix the problem on Mac computers:
1. In the menu bar across the top of the screen, click the Wi-Fi icon. Linksys Connect has automatically assigned your network a name. In the example below, the computer was connected to another wireless network named JimsRouter. The name of the Linksys E-Series network, BronzeEagle in this example, is selected.

2. Select the wireless network name of the router you want to connect to.
3. Type your wireless network password (Security Key) into the Password field. Click OK.

Reset the earbuds if you can only hear sound on one side: 1. Delete the “Soundcore Liberty Air” in device’s bluetooth list, and turn off the bluetooth on your device.

2. Only take one earbud out of the charging case. Tap the multifunction touchpad on the earbud for 4 times. Repeat the same on the other earbud.

3. Put both earbuds into the charging case.

4. Then take both earbuds out of the charging case, place them near each other, then the LED indicator will start flashing in white(breathing-like).

5. Once the LED indicator on right earbud flashes white, go to the Bluetooth® pairing list on your device and select “Soundcore Liberty Air”.

USING THE PELOTON HEART RATE MONITOR
• Snap the sensor pod onto the chest strap.

• Adjust the strap to fit your lower chest. It should be snug but
comfortable.

• When the heart rate monitor detects a heartbeat, the LEDs will
flash red and blue. If your monitor does not detect your heartbeat,
aid the connection by moistening the electrodes with a small
amount of water, saliva, or electrode heart rate gel.

• Join a class. The heart rate monitor will connect to your Peloton
product automatically via ANT+.

READING THE LED INDICATORS
Flashing Red: The heart rate monitor detects a heartbeat. The LED will stop flashing after 30 seconds.

Flashing Blue: The heart rate monitor detects a heartbeat and is in Bluetooth pairing mode. The LED will continue flashing until the monitor connects to a Bluetooth device, even if you connect to a Peloton product via ANT+.

Flashing Yellow: The heart rate monitor’s battery is low. Replace immediately with a new CR2032 3-volt battery.

REPLACING THE BATTERY
• The right LED will flash yellow when the battery needs to be replaced.
• The battery door is located on the underside of the sensor pod.
Unscrew it by inserting a coin into the slot and rotating it counterclockwise.
• When the battery door is loose, remove it. The battery sits inside the battery door.
• Wait for 20-30 seconds.Then insert a new CR2032 3-volt battery, with the flat side facing down.
• Place the battery door over the markers. Insert a coin into the door slot and rotate
clockwise until the door is flush with the underside of the sensor pod.
• Test the heart rate monitor to make sure the sensor activates.

WARNING : Contact your local waste services provider to recycle coin cell batteries. Batteries may contain perchlorate material and special handling may be required.

Note 1: Check the charging device is suit to the headset or not.

Note 2:Use only the supplied charger to charge the headset, if use other device may violate the validation or the maintenance article of this product and may cause danger.

Note 3:Do not attempt to force open the built-in battery as this could damage the headset.

Note 4:A fully charged headset will lose its power automatically if left unused. It is recommended to charge the headset each three months.

Note 5:Do not leave the headset in a too hot or too cold condition (best between -10c and 50c) which may affect the headset’s operations although it is fully charged.

Note 6:Do not dispose of the headset into fire or wart.

Note 7: Please take out of the headsets from the charging base and store it
separately if not to use for a long time .

Method-1:In OFF MODE, press and hold MFB for 2 seconds to turn on. In ON MODE, press and hold MFB for 5 seconds to turn off.

On OFF state, press MFB key for 2 seconds to power on and waiting for 10 seconds , the two headsets will enter pairing mode automatically. Two headsets connected with each other after few seconds, the headset (R) alternately flashing red and blue, and then open the phone’s bluetooth device to search.

Do as the above ways: 1 or 2 , after TWS successfully paired: left headset prompts “left channel” and right headset prompts “right channel-pairing”

Method 1: Press and hold MFB for 2 seconds to power on→wait for few seconds, the two headsets connected automatically→the headset paired with the mobile phone that has ever paired after few seconds →reconnected successfully.

Note: The headset(R)(L)will prompt “connected”, le ft headset prompts “left
channel” , the right headset prompts “right channel”. After connected with mobile phone successfully, the right headset prompts “second device connected”

On standby mode, shortly press MFB to play music. On music playing state, shortly press MFB to PLAY music, press MFB again to PAUSE music.

On standby state or call state, you can answer/end the call by shortly press MFB of the headset(R).

Press and hold MFB of headset(R) for 2 seconds to reject the call, the speaker prompts “beep” twice and “call reject”.

On standby state or call state, shortly press MFB twice to redial the last phone number. The speaker will prompt “beep” twice and “redial”

Two-call Handling Headset(R)

(Only support the mobile phone who have function of handling two phones.)
When you are answering a call, there is another call coming :

1.Press and hold MFB of headset(R) for 2 seconds to end the current call and
answer another one.
2.Shortly press MFB of headset(R) once to answer another call and hold on the
current one .
3.After the above operation “2” settled, shortly press MFB of headset(R)
to transfer one call to another.

Note:
All the above operations have to respect the precondition that Phone supported Bluetooth hands free profile V1.5 and Phones are running under call
holding function (Network services) from telecom.

Delete Pairing Records on the Headset
On OFF MODE state, press MFB button for 10 seconds (OFF MODE→ON MODE(2 seconds)→Delete pairing records (10 seconds), until hearing the Beep voice for 3 times, and the red/blue light flashes twice at the same time.

Maintenance
– Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the headset.
– Do not allow the headset to touch with any sharp objects as this will cause
scratching and damage
– Please keep headset away from high-temperature, humidity and dust.

Pairing with your phone for the first time
1. Power on your headphone. It auto-enters Bluetooth pairing mode, where the indicator blinks red and blue, and plays a voice alert.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and pair with the headphone.
Automatic re connection after power-on
Power on the headphone. The headphone will automatically connect to the recently-connected phone.

Re-pairing
1. Press and hold the function button for over 5 seconds to power on your headphone and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. You will hear a voice message instructing you to wait for the Bluetooth connection. The red-blue indicator will blink.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your phone and pair with the headphone.

i.The headphone will power off after 3 minutes if it is not connected to any phones in pairing mode.

Paring with two phones simultaneously
1. Pair your headphone with the first phone.
2. Power off your headphone.
3. Press and hold the function button for over 5 seconds to power on your headphone and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Pair your headphone with the second phone.
4. Open the list of available Bluetooth devices in your first phone, and pair your phone with your headphones.

i.When your headphone is paired with two phones simultaneously, only one phone can play music at a time. If you want to play music in your second phone, pause the music playback in your first phone.

Re-connection after long-distance disconnection
After the headphone disconnects from your paired phones:
 If you return to Bluetooth range within 10 minutes, the connection will automatically resume.
 If you return to Bluetooth range within 30 minutes, the connection can be manually reconnected by pressing the function button.
 If you do not return to Bluetooth range within 30 minutes, the headphone will automatically power off.

i. Some phones cannot reconnect to the headphone automatically due to differences in Bluetooth technologies. Such concerns are not likely to be a quality issue with your headphone.

Handling calls

For an incoming call:
 To answer the call, press the function button.
 To reject the call, press and hold the function button for 2 to 4 seconds.

During call:
 To end the call, press the function button.
 To switch between the phone and the headphone, press and hold the function button for 2 to 4 seconds.
 To mute or unmute a call, simultaneously press the volume up and volume down buttons.

When there is a new incoming call during a call:
 To end the current call and answer the new call, press the function button.
 To hold the current call and answer the new call, double-press the function button.
 To reject the new call, press and hold the function button for 2 to 4 seconds.
To cancel a call, press the function button.
To call back the last outgoing call, double-press the function button.

Music playback

To resume playback, press the function button.
During playback:
 To pause playback, press the function button.
 To increase volume, press the volume up button.
 To decrease volume, press the volume down button.
 To advance to the next audio track within a playlist, double-press the function button.
 To return to a previous track within a playlist, triple-press the function button.
 When you receive an incoming call during music playback, the music pauses automatically. To answer the call, press the function button. To end the call and resume playback, press the function button again

i. To help ensure music playback quality and connectivity, keep the headphone close to your phone with as few obstacles as possible.

The backs of your headphone earpieces attract each other. Placing them in this configuration allows the following functionality:
 Answer an incoming call by separating the earpieces
 End a call by attracting the earpieces.
 Pause music playback by attracting the earpieces.
 Resume playback after a call by attracting the earpieces.

i.  Some third-party players may not support this feature.
 Some third-party players may start playback from the beginning of the
current music after attracting the earpieces.

 During charging, the indicator is steady red.
 When the headphone is fully charged, the indicator is steady blue.

If the headphone powers off due to insufficient battery level, charge the headphone within 30 days. Otherwise, charging failure may occur.

 Use a clean, soft, and dry cloth to clean the headphone. Power off the headphone before cleaning and maintenance.
 Ideal operating temperatures range from 5°C to 35°C (40° to 90°F). Ideal storage temperatures range from 5°C to 35°C (40° to 90°F). Extreme heat or cold may damage the headphone. When the temperature is lower than 5℃ (40°F), the battery performance will be affected.
 Keep the headphone and accessories in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
 Children should be supervised when using the headphone and its accessories. The headphone and its accessories may contain small components that may be damaged or present a choking hazard to children. Please place them out of the reach of children.
 Do not attempt to replace the battery. This device is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery that cannot be removed.
